We are attending the last two parties. Will they sell out of some of the party merchandise by then or are they good with having enough stock?

They do not “hold back” a certain amount of merchandise for each party, so yes, items can (and will) sell out.

Does it matter whether I have the party tickets emailed - I get an email showing I purchased tickets and the tickets are just put on our MDE (magicbands) - or should I have actual cards mailed?

I prefer to have the hard ticket in hand and use it to enter the party. That way, there is no confusion and I don’t have to worry about a day getting pulled from my regular ticket. But this is not necessary, I’m just overly cautious.

Yep, makes sense...I did have my regular tickets that I purchased through UT shipped to me so I would have hard copies just in case. So, I guess it makes sense to do that with the party tickets through Disney, also. Thanks!

One more question, they are like regular tickets that you link to your MDE, correct? So we can still use our magicbands for entry and not have to use the card, just have it as a backup?

Last year they started selling some merchandise (especially shirts) all day long to anyone. This is a fact, not a rumor. I was there last year from 12/15-12/27 and attended 2 of the last 3 parties. I was looking forward to purchasing shirts, since posted that nice selection of larger sizes were still available. Woo-hoo! NOT! Was shocked when we went into the Emporium on the 16th and MVMCP merchandise had its own section. o_O

That really stinks. I was hoping to pick out some nice memorabilia for myself as Xmas gifts.

This will be our first time going to MVMCP, although our third time going over the holiday season. How do they know to use your Christmas party ticket when you enter for the party, as opposed to one of your regular day tickets? Is it just based on the date and time you enter the park? Also, if we plan on entering the park at 4 for the party, there is still a two hour window open for fast passes. I am assuming we cannot book fast passes in advance for the party and, if we do, we will forfeit fast passes for one of our other days. We are starting our vacation at a party on a Sunday night, so it will be the very first thing we do on the trip. Thanks!

So I was told I need to pick up our tickets from guest services when we arrive (and just show them some email I was sent with a number). So will they just print me the tickets at guest services? It worries me that I don't have anything linked to my magicband!

Did you buy them on the Disney site? If so, they should automatically link to your MDE.

No, there was an issue with an EMM date I had and Disney had to cancel it so I received party tickets as a replacement. They emailed me some numbers and told me to go to guest relations on my first MK day (this is before our party day).

There is a seperate entrance for those attending the party. That is where you get your wristband and program.

Are you able to add those number to your reservation? That may work. Years ago when I had to make my dining reservations by phone some of them did not go into my MDE, but I just went into add plans and added the numbers they had given me and everything showed up in my plans. Maybe try that.
