Where In The World 21. We are now completely legal!!!

DS? This looks familiar.

Inside, outside or in a window display?

DD and Redstorm just stopped by to pick up a few things up for their spring break adventure. :goodvibes They're leaving as soon as DSIL gets home from work this afternoon, spending the night in Shreveport, Louisiana at one of the casinos. Thanks to SIL's gambling abilities :rolleyes1 they comp their room for the night and it puts them 3 hours closer to their destination of Valparaiso, Indiana. I found some "talking points" for her for the meeting with the soccer coach in hopes of helping her feel more at ease during their visit. She told me she'd received a letter of interest from PRINCETON UNIVERSITY! I laughed and told her I didn't think that would be a good fit for her...she'd be the ONLY CONSERVATIVE on the entire campus! Hoping her visit to Valparaiso University goes as well as the first one did. :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 Yes, this is from DS and it will seem familiar when it's solved. :goodvibes This is inside but not part of a window display. :tink:

Westside, The Landing, Town Center or Marketplace?

I'm shivering just watching the Weather Channel live from MA! :cold: It's unbelievable :scared:. I'm pretty sure I'll NEVER see Redstorm in her meteorologist role doing THOSE reports! :lmao: Did I hear them say the European models show a possibility of yet ANOTHER storm NEXT WEEK? :scared1: I certainly hope I misunderstood that! Hoping you don't get those awful winds that are taking down the power lines along with the wet snow! One town had 80% of the citizens without power. Keeping you in our thoughts...stay safe! :tink:

You heard right. Possibility of another one next week.:faint:

OH...no, no NO! You're getting as much snow as WE got rain in August from Hurricane Harvey! o_O Your back yard railing looks like that picture the Weather Channel had on last week from MA! That's unbelievable and they say Maine and NH will get the heaviest snow tonight! :scared: When is it going to end? Pictures are pretty :goodvibes but your misery level must be "off the charts"! :tink:

Don has already been out three times to snow blow. The plow has only come down our street once all day.

WOW that's a lot of snow

while we were in Disney we over hear people talking on the bus about their flights beings canceled due to the snow in the east and they had to find a room. I would be ok to be stuck in Disney for extra days

A bunch of people I work with were in Florida and had their flights cancelled. The Assistant Principal at my school and his family were lucky enough to fly home on a private jet. His family that they were visiting knew the pilot and family who owned a jet and they were heading back to Boston and said they could have a ride. I saw pictures huge private jet, very fancy.

WOW...lucky for him! I'm not sure I'd WANT to fly into that storm in a private jet though! :rotfl: There were a lot of flights cancelled so not surprised some got stranded! Poor Don :goodvibes, bless his heart having to go out and work in that storm. I don't see how the people running the snow plows can EVER get all that snow cleared! :tink:

IT'S STILL SNOWING.:faint: I've been bored today so I've been playing on the Disney website making more dining reservations. I think I may have too many now. Also trying to figure out what rides to get fastpasses for. Has anyone used fastpasses for the shows Rivers of Light and Fantasmic? Not sure I want to waste a fastpass on special seating.

Weather Channel sounds encouraging :crazy2: ... maybe a couple hours or so before the snow stops in MA so I guess you could say there's "hope". Derry, NH was listed as receiving the "most snow"...maybe 30 miles from you? They got 25 INCHES! I ended up working outside this afternoon :crazy2: and suffering for it now with a stuffy head. I SHOULD have taken one of those prescription allergy pills before I went out! :headache: But did get the last of the shrubs trimmed for spring. Now I "get" to rake the leaves and get the lawn in better shape.

DD got Fastpasses for Rivers of Light but they were planning on being in AK 2 days anyway; she said at the time she didn't think it was necessary and she'd probably just wait in line next time. BUT...my guess is they'll be a lot of summer visitors that are anxious to experience Pandora like you and it may be crowded. That's a hard one to call. We thought about it for Fantasmic but WE had planned on 2 days at HS. :goodvibes I ended up getting one for Indiana Jones 'cause DH really wanted a good seat for that. We took a chance on Fantasmic and arrived about 15 minutes before show time. We got in and actually had pretty good seats down front on the left. The downside to that was it was a nightmare :rotfl: getting out after the show since the back of the theater empties out first. We weren't in a hurry so ended up being okay just got a "little crowded" for awhile there with all the people. At least you have reservations :rotfl:... you can always fine-tune your schedule later and cancel what's not needed. Better that way than not being able to GET a restaurant you really want! :tink:

That's what I figured it's better to have the reservations and I can always cancel later. I was planning on one day at HS maybe once we use the fastpasses we get we can add Fantasmic later. We'll have to see how things go. Next thing I can't decide on is to get park hoppers. Is it worth the extra money? We usually do one park a day but it might be nice to have the option if we want.
