I keep telling myself that I want to get one of those Starbucks tumblers, but then I don't. I really should. Starbucks Disney tumblers are really the best coffee-holding things ever.

My first Uber and Taxi in one night!

We were seated in the dining package section for Rivers of Light. We arrived maybe a half hour-ish before the show started.

The performers walk through the seating areas before the show now which is something that didn't happen the last time I saw it.





The sun was setting upon the Tree of Life.







The animal floats are probably my favorite part. I wish they were used more in the show.

ll of us really was how cold it was inside the restaurant

I hate this. There is nothing worse than being cold INSIDE, especially when you're trying to enjoy a meal. However, your deconstructed cheesecake looked delicious!
I have definitely not spent enough time in Pandora just observing yet, and haven't even been back at night. NOR have I seen ROL-but your photos are definitely ensuring I make it a priority for our August trip.

I haven't been able to try mobile ordering yet it sounds really convenient though!

It's fantastic! This was the only way we were able to enjoy the awesom QS AK has to offer in those crazy crowds! It worked brilliantly!

My first Uber and Taxi in one night!





















I know this show is described as boring or not worth the time I disagree. This show fits Animal Kingdom. It is about nature, water, and animals. The show could be improved upon but every show could be. The floats are graceful and innovative. My biggest complaint is I wish they used the animal floats more. They make their entrance and then float way to the back. I might not see this show every trip but I don't always get to see each show every trip.

After this we headed out of the park. Our next order of business before bed was a trip to the Disney outlets! I have never ventured off property before (yes I know what you are thinking). We didn't have a car so we needed a way to get there. We found a Mears taxi outside the park. I have never taken one before as I have never needed to. I have my own car and live in a place where taxi's aren't really needed. I can say I survived my first taxi experience and we arrived at the outlets. We went to the Disney outlet and they didn't have a lot of stuff or at least not as much as I was expecting based on what I have seen online. I ended up getting some Christmas light ears as I have a bit of an obsession with Christmas lights. I can show you my display if you are interested. They also had the food and wine Dooneys. My mom loves those purses and they were a considerable discount and I could use my AP discount as well. So a $300 purse for roughly $140. So the Dooney was my moms gift from the trip.

One of my friends bought a Vera Bradley bag and then we headed out. We stopped at the food court for a snack and then called an Uber. This would be my first time using an Uber as well. I have never used one of those either because I never really have had too. I survived that as well and actually the driver was very nice. Soon enough we were back at Bay Lake Tower and I was off to bed as I had a 10K to run the next morning!

Yeah I was okay but others in my party were not happy with the room temperature and other tables near us of course weren't either. That cheesecake was really good!

Pandora at night is worth a trip.

Your pictures of Rivers of Light are gorgeous! We weren't super impressed with the show but I would definitely make the time to see it again during future trips. I've never ventured over to the Disney Outlets either. Once we are in that Disney bubble, it's hard to want to leave it.

Thanks! The show definitely isn't for everyone but I think some are overwhelmingly negative towards it and it isn't as bad as they make it out to be. I agree I am usually always in the Disney bubble and don't want to leave.

Wow, your first cab and your first Uber. That just seems crazy to me ... although maybe that's because I don't drive (and I live in a city where everyone takes cabs).

Yeah, I don't really need to use them where I live. If I lived in a major city like you I probably would use them all the time.

Were your seats pretty close for RoL? We got there 30 minutes before the show as well but we sat in the second row from the back and all the way to the right (the lotus flowers came in to our right). We saw the storytellers come out but felt really far from any "action". I definitely agree that it was beautiful, but it was a little disjointed--not too much of a story to follow maybe? I probably would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't freezing. Animal floats were gorgeous--I would have loved to see more of them!!

We were in the middle for RoL. I was surprised as it was kind of empty. We had nobody in front of us so we could put our feet up.

The 10K is one of my favorite Disney races!

Wow what a great price for a Dooney and Bourke that would make the trip to the Outlets worth it.
I had to download the Lyft app in November so we could try the Minnie Vans
My DD uses Uber all the time in St Augustine since she doesn't have a car and loves it. Price is half what a cab would be.
I've never used Uber either but just used Lyft a couple of weeks ago when I moved my DD back to college
I was very pleased prices were great, clean cars and friendly drivers.
