Ticket prices

Does Disneyland typically increase prices around February like WDW does? Or is it more unpredictable? I’m trying to decide if I should purchase tickets now or wait until a little closer to our trip.

Ticket prices last increased in February 2017. I believe they have increased in February for at least the last three years. I advised the people we are going to the parks with in March to buy their tickets now just in case.

LMTclub is only showing ticket prices through Feb 1st. Can we buy that ticket and use in March? Do the dates on LMT really matter?

That's weird, I was able to pull up date for May just yesterday when I got our tickets. The tickets (I printed them today) do not have a real date on them other than the expiration date which is Jan 13 2019.

That is weird! I will try again :)

Yes they go up around then, same as WDW. have you checked out LMTclub for tickets? 5 day hoppers are $300 (on DLR site they are $350)

I haven’t checked them out, but we only need 3-day Hoppers. ParkSavers seems to have the best deal so far.

I will plan to buy them very soon...

I just tried LMTC with multiple dates from the end of January through our travel dates in April and I kept getting the same message that the offer was “not available for my dates” or something to that effect.

It appears the increase last year was not all that significant - our situation is such that we may end up having to cancel our trip so I am hoping to wait until just before the Canadian 25% discount ends to buy before we head there early March. Still if one knows for sure they are going - buying before the increase is always good as you never know what % they will go up each year.

When using LMT, do you get the tickets immediately?
In my experience, they typically email them to you within a couple of days at most. Sometimes you will get them right away and sometimes it can take a couple of days. I purchased our tickets for an upcoming trip in June and received the tickets via email the next morning.

Are they "Disney" tickets like you would get from the Disneyland website? Will they tell you if your dates are unavailable prior to paying the $50 fee? My days show available, but I would hate to pay the fee and then have them say sorry, no tickets.

What $50 fee? If you're talking the membership fee it's usually pretty easy to dig up a free membership code.

I was able to buy tickets from LMTClub today for June. I was having some issues with the site, though.

First, it wouldn't let me sign in. Then I had to enter my email twice at checkout because the first time it said it wasn't valid (when it was). Then my card declined, but I immediately got an email from Chase Fraud Protection asking if it was me. Payment went through the second time.

I have email confirmation, but no tickets yet.

@whoever Definitely search for a promo code. I got one awhile back for a free year membership, and that seems to be pretty typical.

I tried March dates and it shows up fine. How are you looking it up? I just click "activities" and put Anaheim and then choose the dates from the calendar (I leave it clicked on "All Activities"). I know if you just search for Disneyland or theme parks sometimes it will not show up. Their 3 day hoppers are $287.70 and it does include taxes.

Tickets are legit. I have used them several times. They will email you the ticket vouchers that you will then print out and take straight to the gate. At the gate they will scan them, exchange them for the regular paper tickets and take your picture.
As far as the membership fee, there are always free membership promos floating around so DON'T pay for it. The last code I saw was LINKSHARE2016 and it was good through 2020. Give that one a try.

That must be the problem - I specifically searched for Disneyland. I’ll try again when I’m home. Thanks for the tip!

I just ordered them. Saved almost $200 for the rest of the family. Got a free year for filling out a survey.

Price increases typically come in February, on the same date for both Disneyland and WDW (prior to 2015 the dates were not in sync). Here are the dates ticket prices increased in the past three years:
2017 - February 12
2016 - February 28
2015 - February 22 (annual pass prices increased later - October 4)

@tzeitel & @whoever - I logged in and searched in Activities for Anaheim and Disneyland tickets didn’t even show up as an option! So, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong...I’ll try again tomorrow.
