I was the one with the pop up water damage drama. Long story short, We fixed the damage in order to sell it
private sale. Then we signed on a brand new Rockwood Mini Lite 2509s. Yay!! Set to be delivered mid February. Then our pop up cable broke and now we're looking to sell it as is. We're over the drama and willing to sell at a big loss. Oh well. Very excited about the new trailer.

After some health stress with me, we decided a June trip to Fort Wilderness is in order. We're going to either do the week of June 9 after kids get out of school or June 16. Trying to decide on premium or preferred. I kinda ruled out full hook up because we won't have a golf cart but I can be persuaded since it is cheaper.

Our new TT is only 26' so not much of a space concern. We are FW camping newbies but we have visited the Fort several times for HDDR and Trails End.

Suggestions on which kind of site to book? We really want to enjoy FW. Of course we will do parks but this will be our 7th trip and we can be more relaxed with touring.

Since you don't want to get a cart, I say go for a Preferred. 100 and 200 loops are a very easy walk to the Settlement with HDDR, TE, the Trading Post and the marina with boats to MK, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and beyond.

Most know I'm a little biased and jealous now. 100 loop is my favorite, but my new 5er won't fit anymore (42+ft)

Enjoy the new TT and have a great time at the Fort.

We did the 1100 loop last time but this time trying full hookup (hopefully loop 2100) just to be close to our daughters cabin loop. Hoping the full hookup whih does cost less still meets or exceeds our expectations. We are happy taking the internal buses at The Fort.

Either will be a good match for you. The preferred are closer, but if you get 400 loop premium you got it just as well.

Your rig will fit either without difficulty so to be honest I would shoot for preferred and at least you will know the general area of FW you will be in.

If you are looking to spend time enjoying the Fort, the full hook ups 1600-1900 loops are the closest to the pool, campfire, movie, and activities. Bikes will help getting around but otherwise, I find these loops perfectly located to enjoy the Fort plus they are spacious and quiet.

We have stayed in both the premium and preferred. The preferred was very nice, liked the location. Unfortunately, the Big Boy club (42+Ft) precludes staying in them again. Have stayed in premiums twice, in 1400 which is a nice central loop and this last time after the hurricane got placed in 1100. A nice a loop, and we did have some space behind our camper which is good as we have a rear bedroom. Had requested 400 this time and 700 the first time, and got neither request. Our request for 100 in a preferred, we got but then there are better odds. The premium is all concrete, the preferred sites have a sand pad located at the back. When we placed our trailer in the 100 loop it placed our back door where we would drag sand in, so for the week we just did not use that door.

This will be our first trip to The fort... Just wondering is I request the 1600 loop if there is enough room for our goldendoodles around our camper? We will have a 14,12 and 10 yo kids who will want to be close to all the stuff you mentioned.

1600 and 1800 canal sites are big and right on the dog walk.

Congrats on the new camper. We have the "sister" brand to yours, the Micro Lite, and we love it! They seem to be well made and we have had no issues with ours. We prefer the full hook ups as they seem to be more wooded and are larger sites (more space between you and your neighbor). Happy camping.

Awesome!! Good to hear. We are set to pick ours up in 2 weeks. We are taking it on a trial run to a local campground and then we're headed to Petit Jean in Arkansas for spring break.
