No fireworks in January and February?

Looks like "Remember...Dreams Come True" will be starting back up on Feb. 19th.

We've done two DLR trips (8 days total) and every single day we've been there, the fireworks were either cancelled or they weren't scheduled for that day. REALLY hoping to finally experience them when we go for Spring Break this year.

I was just going to post that on here....Feb 19th they show fireworks on the entertainment schedule. I am also hoping to go during March Spring Break and would love for there to be fireworks.

Does anyone else think it is strange that Fantasmic seems to be every night in Feb so far? I thought it would just be weekends

I hope this isn't a mistake. It seems odd that the 16th through 18th (Friday through Sunday) would not have any fireworks and then they would suddenly do them on Monday (even though it's Presidents Day). Maybe they plan to have the most space-occupying portion of the construction done by then?

Beat me to the punch--didn't see your post first.

My guess is it’s because they aren’t running any parades daily.

I thought it was weird too--but dining packages are available through the end of February on weekdays, so it appears to be a thing.

my guess is that due to the construction of star wars land, it could limit the fireworks. Last trip i went to disneyland, the fireworks were definitely shorter than usual.

When was that? They did the 4.5 minute fantasy in the sky show during the winter/spring of 2015 before debuting Disneyland Forever and for a short period of time in fall 2016 and for like 3 weeks last January between the bigger believe in holiday show and RDCT returning.

The current likely reason for no fireworks from now until Feb 19 is the Main Street roadwork interference. As RDCT will be returning on Feb 19.

Oh YES!!!!!! This makes me so happy! My best friend from childhood is coming to visit and we are planning on going to DL on Feb 23. So happy that we will get fireworks (as long as the weather cooperates)!

it was about a month ago in Nov 2017.

So not only no fireworks & ride closures but no parade either
Note to self ..........................NEVER go to Disney this time of year again.

I wasnt aware until after id booked....we normally travel april/may. I will never travel in Jan / Feb again though.... will the parks be alittle quieter at that time?

That's definitely the tradeoff. It should be much more manageable crowds in Jan/Feb. We've only been there in Feb or early March. The crowds were very mild compared to other wait times I'd see in Christmas/Spring Break. But tons of stuff was down and there were very few shows scheduled.

It's definitely worse this year than normal. We were going for the Lightside which was cancelled. Family still wanted to go although I probably would have rescheduled. We'll have fun but I am disappointed by all the closures.
