Is this any good? Is it worth making a dinner reservation pkg?

Thanks

We love it. It's our favorite night time show of any of them. It's beautiful, the music is stirring and it will make you cry. We did the dining package (Tusker House) and I think that's the way to go. (Dinner pkg, not necessarily TH)

Reception on the show has been divided, but I really enjoyed it. I'd say it's worth doing. The Dining Package is the easiest way, but if you don't want to eat at one of the restaurants, then get a FastPass.

"Any good" is a very subjective thing. Some think it's wonderful, and others were totally unimpressed and wouldn't bother to go back. I've seen it and thought it was quite pretty and I did enjoy it. It seems to lack a cohesive theme that I could detect. I'd probably see it again if I had the opportunity but I personally wouldn't plan my day around it. The only way you'll know how you feel is to see it once. I have no knowledge about the dining packages. At the less busy times, it isn't hard to get a FP+ if you're willing to refresh your screen a bunch of times, so the dining package isn't really necessary. But, if you want to eat at the Tusker House anyway (and the price isn't too inflated), then why not.

I liked it and think it’s worth seeing at least once. We did the dining package at Tiffins because we wanted to eat there anyway (currently my favorite WDW restaurant) and also didn’t want to use a FP for ROL. TH is good too.

I think it's worth seeing once so you can say you saw it, but I think it was very "meh". Not horrid, but we won't be going out of our way to see it again.

We enjoyed it. It's different, and the music is lovely.
We did the DP at Tusker House, and it was a good idea, because it was really crowded (we went on 12/18, so busy time...)

It's my favorite, too! I finally found someone else!

No ......... while I think there are plenty in the middle, there are some who love it and some of us who followed it from inception who are beyond disappointed. Even Disney gave up on it and didn't fix it after several CM previews and responses.

Unless we can walk right in before it starts the closest we will come to planning on watching it again will be from the Flame Tree BBQ and watch from behind. It's actually prettier that way with Everest in background. Night time at the Tree Awakening, Dance party in Africa, Pandora or riding Everest are much better uses of our night time.

But everyone is different and the more folks that go sit in that stadium the more that are not in the rest of the park.

And the Tiffins dining package is actually a pretty good deal if you eat the Wagyu beef (the package is $67, the Wagyu beef is $53 alone plus appetizer, drink, and dessert - my meal would've been almost $85 without the package). And the Wagyu beef is AMAZING.

I know I have heard mixed reviews, but we have reservations at Tusker House during our June trip as a part of the ROL dinner package. Also keeps our Fast Passes free for other attractions.

I completely agree. We saw it on our last trip with VIP seating (we have a friend who works in Guest Relations at DAK, so we sometimes get VIP show perks). I was glad we were able to see it with minimal wait and an unobstructed view. The show was beautiful and very calming. Not sure we would see it again unless we had a similar setup. But, definitely a relaxing show.

I enjoy it and go see it every time I'm there solo. My son thought it was pretty but has back issues and sitting on the hard seats doesn't work for him so he doesn't do any of the sit down shows. I just get a last minute FP so can't comment on the meal package.

I really enjoyed it and would recommend it 1x at least. I did see people coming in right before it started and got decent seats.

That's exactly what we ate - I felt we really maximized the opportunity by what we chose to eat at Tiffins as well as by not needing a FP for ROL. And I'm sincere about ROL too. I've seen it twice, enjoyed it both times, but have to admit I don't feel compelled to see it OR any other nighttime show (including HEA) every time we visit WDW.

I’m really glad we saw it.its quite different and not heavy on Disney it it’s really neat and very much worth seeing it. We also almost always do a dinner package and we did with this show with no regrets.

After all the delays, I saw it for the first time last month. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but ended up liking it! I wouldn't call it a "must do" for future trips but was glad I saw it.
