Like hair cut interest etc , what was trending at your school

In primary school it was football stickers pokeman cards and conkers

In high school it was mainly internet online games like Run and Jumpers for Goalposts that were popular.

The only brand name I remember in the 70's was the tennis shoe, Addidas. They had 3 stripes, the fakes had two or 4. We had the bell bottoms, clogs, heavy type heals that could break a leg if you kicked someone, chokers. New tapes for the tape deck LOL

"Levi's Cords" in every color.
I also remember my favorite sneakers were Ken Rosewalls, I loved those things.

Class of 96, and yep! In addition to Esprit bags and Gibaud jeans

Another Class of '96 here.

In Central KY, the hot items were:
Liz Claiborne Purses or Dooney and Bourke (for the really rich kids)
Guess Jeans
Duckhead Shorts
Vests
Flannel

In the early 80's I bought a pair of Nikes with a plastic rainbow stripe. I thought I was super cool until my fashionista gay friend saw them and declared them tacky. LOL He was right!

I had these! I loved them, LOL Many comments were made about them.
I still remember the little store I got them at.

Class of '75, in Eugene, OR, we were all wearing these new shoes called Nike.
LOL. Class of '75 in Sacramento California. I don't recall Nike being that big a deal. I see a few pair in sports team photos in my yearbook, but most folks had Chucks.
Looking at my yearbook, there was an obsession with the movies "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Catcher in the Rye". Leather jackets were big. I was working security in a Department store my last 2 years of high school, and I know between selling them and having them shoplifted, we couldn't keep them on the rack.
I was thinking Pet Rock, but that didn't hit the stores until the end of 1975.
My class was big on "not doing what previous classes did". So I got cheated out of the usual all night trip to Disneyland, instead they rented a cabin at Lake Tahoe. 4 years I looked forward to that Disneyland trip.
