Prayer and pixie dust requests--Updated May 2

Hoping you came through well, Dianna.
Thank you! We did on the most part. My island suffered no damages, but a couple of our southern islands did, one in particular is practically uninhabitable so those residents (who had chosen to stay behind and ride-out the storm after they were asked to evacuate prior to Irma) were evacuated to Nassau as a result. But all in all, the Bahamas was spared and we all came out pretty well. I am sorry for all who didn't, but at least it leaves the capital in a position now to be able to help out those who need us.

Just heard today, he didn't get the job.
's

I do believe there are reasons for things like this, tough as it may be at the time, Lisa. Another, better offer will be available in the days ahead, just watch. My prayers remain with you both, best wishes. Keep that chin up...okay?'s

....please send plenty of prayers for my mom, who is 82 years old and is stuck in Puerto Rico....she is with her cousin, but we still have not heard ANYTHING [good OR bad] and my brother, sister, and I are getting really worried....

Great news, Kim!!!! Hoping mom is able to leave PR. Prayers for that continue, and for all those in such dire need there.'s

Was listening to an old podcast where someone said how amazing it is to find support on the boards. My issue may be smaller than some, and I add my thoughts and prayers to everyone reaching out with theirs.

When I separated from my husband 9 years ago I was left with our home. Too big for me to afford to live in I put it on the market with the hopes to sell. Due to the downturn in the economy at that time it was on the market for a year with barely any showings. I was lucky enough after that to have a renter for 5 years, but the place got pretty beat up as a result. It has been on the market now for another year and a half and still no luck selling. I am to the point where I cannot afford to maintain it for much longer.

if you are so inclined, please add me to your thoughts and prayers list, that I find a buyer for my house.

My Gran-puppy passed away this morning. He was only 11 months. My son and new daughter-in-law are crushed. Gosh this hurts so much, just seeing him in this picture.

What a great looking little guy. So young, only 11 months. So sorry to hear this, Mari.'s

Know well, and let your son and daughter-in-law know about that bridge, it is there.......

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Thanks Dan, tears are flowing again. Our hearts are broken.

If anyone is inclined, I'm requesting prayers for my cousin Mark who is in the hospital on a ventilator with what we suspect is Covid19. His wife passed away a year ago (3/8) from early onset dementia; and, he has two young teens who really need their dad. I'm so scared for them right now.

For sure, indimom. Thanks for letting us know. Wishing Mark well, he will be in my prayers.

I’ll add him to my prayers. Hopefully he will recover fully soon.
