There are lots of different regional words so I don't want to slag anyone but I hate the word foodie like it's a brag word. Some people are super special because they will eat anything served on a plate no matter what's on it. Squab (pigeon) equals foodie, fois gras? (unbelievable forced animal suffering) fancy and rich. Your kid will eat anything that doesn't move equals worldly and advanced for their age.

And don't get me started on Kobe beef.

"Sit-down" restaurant. You would actually probably sit down even to eat quick service food, so I refer to table service as "table service".

Also bennies, peeps, convo, and ressies.

And calling it "Hoop Dee Doo Review" instead of "Hoop Dee Doo Revue".

I use the term sit down restaurant. I always think of it as the way u order not the way u eat. So sit down vs counter service.

I hate the word potty. Makes me cringe unless you are describing the actual training toilet thing.
