Disney Gift Card Deals

Any fellow Minnesotans here? I think I just figured out how to take advantage of a deal! I just saw that the Mall of America is offering a holiday rewards deal for the next month: buy $250+ at MoA and get a freebie, such as 2 Nickelodeon Universe passes, 3 Crayola Experience passes, etc. Well, we're going to be there next month (to meet Santa!), but don't intend to buy a lot of stuff. So, I got thinking about gift cards to trigger the bonuses. There is a Best Buy at MoA. I had the "spend $250, get a $25 statement credit" on 3 of our AmEx cards, but have only used one so far. So, I think we'll be stopping by Best Buy with our two AmEx cards, buying two $250 Disney Gift Cards (for a net of $225/each!), then picking up our free Nickelodeon Universe and Crayola Experience (or maybe Sea Life) passes. Have I missed anything? Hopefully this works! :thumbsup2

ETA: After writing this, I double-checked our cards and realized that EACH of us has two Best Buy AmEx offers left to use!!! :faint: So, perhaps we'll be fully funding a future Disney trip while getting free passes for all the MoA attractions. :woohoo: Thanks for the tips here about triggering the offer on multiple AmEx cards!!
Just to follow up on this, I had forgotten we were meeting family for brunch at MoA today (Firelake Grill in the Radisson Blu for you locals - check it out, it's great!), so we tried out the strategy. My DH forgot his wallet (2 AmEx with BB offer), so we just used my 2 AmEx offers today and will get his later. I was able to just get a single Disney Gift Card at Best Buy and have it loaded with $500, scan my Shopkicks, then split payment with $250 on each AmEx. It was no problem at all - probably the smoothest BB transaction I've ever had - in and out fast! We then went to the MoA rewards redemption center and handed them the $500 receipt. No issues there and we chose the 2 Nickelodeon Universe wristbands and 3 Crayola Experience tickets for free! We'll get Sea Life when we do DH's purchase. Pretty sweet bonuses for something I was going to do anyway to get those AmEx credits making the gift cards 10% off.

Oh, we also sprung for a single ride today (saving the passes for a future visit). DD and I rode the Log Chute and were pleasantly surprised that it was decorated for Christmas inside! I recommend it! It's like the faster more-dangerous-feeling version of Splash Mountain, all spruced up for the holidays!

Offer for this week, advertised in this week's flyer for Rite Aid... $100 spend on Disney Gift Cards gets you 1,000 Plenti Points ($10 value). Limit 2.

Raise has a $10 off a purchase of $100 for today (Cyber Monday) using code CMRAISE, limited to one use per person. As of now (6:26 AM EST), Best Buy is available at 2% off.
Thank you! I was feeling super lazy and decided to pass on the extra $2 with Best Buy and just used the code directly on two $50 Disney Resort gift cards (there were only a few left). It worked and I've already combined them with my existing cards at the disneygiftcard website. Easy 10% off $100. :)

Thanks for the heads up! I kept trying to snag the Best Buy one that was 2% off but every time I hit "checkout" it would say it was unavailable now. Then when I finally snagged one and tried the code it wouldn't let me since the total was $98 after the 2%. By the time I went back to get another one to add, it was gone again. Ugh. Hoping another one becomes available before the end of the day!

FYI for others looking: Disney, Target, and Amazon are all sold out as of right now (11 AM EST)

For those with Discover cards - You can purchase gift cards on the Swych app and pay via "Amazon pay." If your Discover card is your default payment method on Amazon, you will get 5% cash back since Amazon is a 5% cash back category right now + doubled for first year card holders.

Swych does not sell Disney, but they do sell Best Buy. Wish I had figured this out before now as they've had some pretty good Lowe's gift card promotions.

Question on Raise dot com 10 off deal: I think I successfully got the deal and then tried to do it with a different account under my husbands name and with a different credit card but same address and it says the promo code (CMRAISE) is invalid. Is it because of the same address?

edit to clarify: had to use the same shipping/billing address. used a different email address

Oh man, I also wish I had known about this sooner. I spent a decent amount at Lowe's over the last month.

Card Cash has 6% off sitewide. I'm trying to get some local giftcards which they actually have in stock. But I can't seem to login or create a new account. Errrrr.

I see that Ibotta is offering 20% cash back on Target.com purchases again (With a whole lot of exclusions). I'm debating if I should attempt it. I know some people have cash back pending from their birthday offer.

That is a big list of exclusions! I ended up buying a lot of vitamins/supplements since that's the only thing I could think of that fell into one of the few included categories. With the 15% off, it's still a good deal even without the potential cash back.

I'm pretty sure it's $3.95. $4.95 on $50 and $5.95 on $100.

Yep - you're right. Confirmed $3.95. Even with $2 off, its still 8% in fees. It would be better to buy the $100 card with the full fee of $5.95. More bang for your buck gas points wise.

I'm suffering from black Friday/Cyber Monday burn out/brain fry. Don't think my brain can process any more "deals!!"

Just checking out my AmEx offers, there's handful of new ones to spend X dollars and get either a set amount of MR points or a multiplier. The one I thought might be useful for folks here is

Get 5X Membership Rewards® Points. Up to 1500 Points Sam's Club (in store only)
