Aren't the river cruises run through Adventures by Disney? They are definitely not associated with Disney Cruise Line so you won't be able to use a placeholder on a booking for them unfortunately. It's too bad there isn't a lot of info out there on these river cruises, I don't think I've seen one trip report! Maybe check out the Adventures by Disney board on here?

River cruises are through ABD, yes and no, sadly you can't use a placeholder. There are about 3 or 4 trip reports on the ABD board (I wrote one up for our holiday Danube last Christmas).

Most likely the WBPC will not be in the first batch of 2019 itineraries to be released, so you will have to wait a little longer.

It was released the last 2 years with this round, so I'm hopeful

Interesting! For the Magic the EBTA has never been in the first batch it seems. I guess it is because the Wonder does the WBPC earlier now to add in a few San Diego cruises before the Repo to Alaska.

Yeah, I noticed that! EBTA seems to be in the later batch for some reason, maybe because it is last half of May usually?

I'm really hoping for a similar EBTA to this years rather than the 2018 itinerary which doesn't seem as fun but the notes from pages 1-3 make that seem unlikely

If they had a similar EBTA to this year's, I'd be all in. We were on this year's and it was amazing!

I was initially thinking Southern Caribbean or New York, and last week of March 2019, but I don't see any NY sailings in 2017/2018 in March. Any thoughts while we wait?

My daughter is graduating HS in 2019, and celebrating with our first ever Disney cruise!

We have a few Carnival cruises, already, and will soon be planning a summer 2018 Carnival.

So I get to plan on two cruises at once!

The NY sailings are in the fall, after the Magic returns from it's summer in Europe. Very unlikely that there will be any March NY sailings anytime soon...who knows what will happen once they have 7 ships, but for now...
