Just found out exactly what a Coke Freestyle machine is...How can I waste time in the parks with all those flavours to try?
Seriously, we are stopping at POFQ, so anyone who has availed themselves of their products, please tell me:
1. Do they really have all those flavours on the machine?
2. How many machines are there and how long are the lines?
3. DH wants to know if they still do the bottles of Minute Maid juice? We can't get it easily in the UK and he loves the apple juice especially! (my rationale is "Why would you want MM juice when you could have Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper, or , OMG even better-GRAPE FANTA? " Guess what else we can't get in the UK...)

I can only tell you about our experience with the Coke freestyle machine at the YC. The machines have a huge list of products, but not all of the choices are available. I was disappointed that a few of the ones I wanted weren't available. But there are many more flavours available with the Freestyle machine than there were with the old beverage dispensers. :)

The YC had two machines and it took a person longer to use one of these machines then it did to use the old dispensers.

They still sell bottles of Minute Maid juice in the coolers. :)

We have them in local food joints, for example Qdoba and PDQ .

My family likes these machines. They have them at the movie theater as well as Wendy's. I often find them frustrating because people take too long to make a choice, but they do have lots of choices.

We have them at a lot of places here (movie theater, fast food places, etc) and I even have them at work! My kids love them. I rarely drink soda but I like a Cherry Coke when I go to the movies.

I love Coke Freestyle machines!!! I don't drink a lot of caffeine and I want sugar free options. The caffeine free diet Vanilla Coke is my fave!

OMG-I can finally get caffeine free diet Coke? The CM in the AKL gift shop insisted that "There's no such thing as Coke without Caffeine". Did someone say their at the YC? In the QS there? What about BC Marketplace?

They have them at the DVC lounge in Epcot. One visit, there was a tweener who thought he was at Club Cool. He stood in front of the machine, took a shot of something, tasted it, poured it out, took something else, tasted it, poured it out, repeat about a dozen times. Good thing the other machine became available or I'd still be waiting for my diet coke. Yes, I am so boring.

I'm not a fan of them, I tend to only drink diet Coke when I drink coke and sometimes it's hidden. My son loves them because he loves to mix his drinks.

I must be in the minority here.....I do not like these machines! We have them in some fast food places, movie theaters, etc around here. I feel like no matter what drink you choose, it has a weird taste. I think it's from all the different flavors coming out of the same spout? I hope these machines aren't all over WDW. However, I don't drink soda too often anyway.

I am also a fan of these machines but for a different reason... due to the way the system works, the Barqs root beer is caffeine free! This is because they use the same flavoring for the diet and regular Barqs and diet is always caffeine free with this product. From Coke:

The Barq's that is dispensed from Coca-Cola Freestyle machines is caffeine-free. This is because the system uses the same concentrated, microdosed ingredient for both Barq's and Diet Barq's; the only difference between the two is the sweetener that is added.

So I am super happy as I can not have caffeine due to medical reasons! I even tried it at another location after I read this information and I had no issues!

Thanks for sharing this! While I can have caffeine, I am caffeine sensitive so I have to be careful of the quantity and what time of day I consume it. I had always found it strange that root beer is typically a decaffeinated soda except for Barqs. As a lot of eateries local to me have been switching to the Freestyle machines, it's good to know that I potentially have another caffeine free option on the list.

we enjoy the diet Cherry Coke from the freestyle machine and give the cherry lemonade a try!
