Do you think Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida belongs in the DIS Universal Hall of Fame? Vote yes or no and let us know below how you voted.

Mummy is a classic! Incredible theming and a nice little coaster. It used to have some heat. I rode it years ago when the faux-fire jumped up at the end of the ride. It was hot. Seriously, it was very toasty. I haven't been on it since but wikki mentions that the fire has been replaced with strobes? If so, not cool. I'll hang on to my vintage Mummy memories.

Yes definitely - It's been a while since I have been to Universal (haven't been since any of the Harry Potter stuff came) but this and Spiderman are the two rides that stuck with me the most. It is just a well done attraction and a great blend of different styles of rides. And "The Mummy" is a Universal product so I think it definitely belongs

As of 2 weeks ago there was fire that was definitely very hot.

Yes! Top 3 (current) Universal attractions.

I hope they don't re-skin it for the newest film. If anything, maybe do what Ryno said and just drop Brendan Frasers part and just make it a vague Mummy movie being filmed.

the whole ride is impressive starting with the queue, I was scared walking next to the masive Jackal

yes - as a disney fan who only went to universal for harry potter the only ride i wanted to do again at the end of the day was the mummy. great use of details and thrill for an amazing ride.

ps. no screens.

I think in one part Imotep's face when he talks to you is a screen - but definitely very minimal use of screens for sure

Love the detail of the que and the ride. We did the production tour, also excellent. Each time we ride we notice more details. It really is an experience not just a ride if you take the time to look around.

Just wanted to say that watching the Podcast on the ride really made me really excited again to go on it in September. I remember that fire and boy yes it was hot. I appreciated the discussion on the ride because I honestly had forgotten or never realized some details for the queue. I remember the first time I rode it I was actually scared not only because of the roller coaster part (which was a thrill for me) but also because of how they did the whole feel and theme of it-it def. had my heart pounding.

As to the discussion on the Podcast about updating the ride for the new Mummy....I really hope they don't-the ride to me works quite well the way it is :)

It definitely belongs in the hall of fame! It's one of the rides at Universal that I want to ride multiple times in a trip - Much more excited to revisit that attraction than I am Gringott's. I guess Gringott's is what a more 'modern' version of that ride would look like? No thanks, I'll stick with my cheesy mummy animatronics and that good ol' Universal Hot Fire.

I hope they keep the ride as-is! No reason to update it for a flop movie. :)

Hands down my favorite ride in the park, and the only one that I will ALWAYS ride multiple times per day. Its the perfect combo of physical thrills, story, theme, surprises, visuals, and still holds true to what Universal was built on...making movies! While there are rides far more technologically advanced, or thrilling, or movie focused, nothing blends them as well as the Revenge of the Mummy!! Must make the HOF list!

Is the one person who voted no the same person who always gives a "thumbs down" to the show before it even starts....?

Either way, it's a yes from me. Love this ride and I can't wait to ride it over and over in August!!!

Of course it belongs in the HoF; It’s a classic dark ride. Other than instead of a Tram (Kong), it uses a coaster to move scene to scene.

G’day

The Mummy is my favorite type of movie. Action, adventure, lots of comedy. The Mummy Ride does not disappoint. Who doesn't love a dark ride turned coaster?

I do have to say I like the Universal Hollywood version better, the one that launches you off. Best ride photo of my bf ever.
