That's what I'm thinking. Disney is good for offering deals. I'm not too worried about them NOT offering something. In fact, I'm hopeful it'll be a nice deal, considering the new land and its the MK's 45th (wouldn't 45% discount for the 45th be sweet?! WISHFUL THINKING on my end.)

I hope there is a discount. As I wrote on another thread things are really selling out. I hope they do something small as a gesture to ap holders at least even if there aren't general discounts.

I am not waiting so patiently lol. I am hoping that is at least posted by March 30 when the general discounts for Spring expire!

Quick breakout below using Mousavers data - the days may be slightly off as I'm doing this on my phone while on the train

But it looks like there was a clear trend up until last year, when Disney changed up their dates and timing of the AP release. So assuming 2016 is the outlier, we may have 2-3 weeks left before we see anything.

2013:
April-June AP Discount released 2/5
June-Aug AP Discount released 4/22
Time between: 2 months, 17 days

2014:
April-June AP Discount released 1/22
June-Aug AP Discount released 4/13
Time between: 2 months, 22 days

2015:
April-June AP Discount released 1/8
June-Aug AP Discount released 4/3
Time between: 2 months, 26 days

2016:
March-June AP Discount released 1/14
June-July AP Discount released 2/26

Yea these dates seem a bit hit or miss compared to usual (and only up to 25% vs 30% LY). Small availability across the board. We are looking at GF for this short July trip- but I know the TA had a strong Poly discount...

I'm thinking 2 weeks before APs are released, hopefully we have decent selection but this release isn't super promising..

AP rates are not out yet.

Just as a quick update, I re-ran the numbers for the Poly I got through my TA and inclusive of taxes and fees, the discount is actually 30% over rack rate. It appears the same time via the current summer offer is circa 15%+

It looks like a lot of the deluxe hotels are 15% off with the discount released today (exception: Grand Floridian being higher). If the AP discount is greater, I may buy in
