Sleeping in Cinderella Castle Suite

I will mention, if they sold nights there and you had the money to stay in the Castle you probably also have the money for one of the Grand Suites at one of the Deluxe resorts.

I know we talked to our Backstage Magic tour guides about the suite when we were at MK. Something that I find a real turn off, when you are inside with the park closed you are "locked in". I think I'd rather have freedom of movement vs. that, for the same money. Would love a tour of the place though, just not a night there.

I totally agree. Although it would be great to have for a daytime stay. It's just a guess but I think that it's an upgrade from a cabana.

I would have no issue being locked in for the night. I wouldn't want to leave anyway.

You can't even buy your way in. I know of someone who told Disney to name a price and they were told sorry that's not how it works. They use it as a publicity thing. Even when celebrities stay there they always do photo shoots and stuff with them or if you win a trip there it includes promotional photos.

It has been used for Make a Wish trips befoee but again you need a pretty connected wish granter and the ok for Disney to use it as publicity.

Yes but I don't believe that even those who win a night in the suite can get in prior to park closing
Though by no means am I certain of that

Yep my understanding has been that it is a true night stay and not like a traditional hotel. You can enter after the fireworks and leave shortly before park opens.

I was already upgraded from an Epcot view room at the Dolphin to a Grand Suite for no extra charge. After that happened my older son said, why not try to get a stay at Cinderella Castle? So that's why I figured I'd post here, for some ideas.

Well the Dolphin isn't owned by Disney so they couldn't upgrade you to the castle anyway.

That I knew, wasn't looking for the Dolphin to upgrade me, was trying to find a way to contact someone at Walt Disney World, who maybe could tell us how or if a stay can be given

Also, on the Keys To the Kingdom tour, the tour guide told us that the Cinderella Suite is not for sale. Their reasoning is they don't want any child to be able to say 'My daddy is better than yours because he got us in the Cinderella Suite.'

BTW, if you were to stay in the suite, you are basically locked in for the night. Once the park closes, you can't leave the suite until it opens the next morning. There are no windows in the suite. This way you can't see what goes on over night. They don't want you to see the cleaning and repairs in the park and have the magic be spoiled. The suite has it's own concierge and security when someone does stay there.

That doesn't make any sense and is a fabrication. If they really wanted to make sure there was no one ups from Disney trips you wouldn't be able to book a billion things that you can. Heck if you have enough money you can book private character meet and greets so there is a lot of my parents are better than yours because we did XYZ at Disney.

Makes sense or not, it's what we were told. There is only ONE Cinderella suite as opposed to 40 Mickeys (or whatever number) that can be booked for private meet and greets.

There are one or two trip reports in the DIS of people who won stays at the suite in the castle. They are really cool reads!

What an amazing experience! Would love to win that some day!
