Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

I looked at their website and I don't see products or what they offer. When I click on order it gives me a form to fill out but again, don't know what they have nor the pricing. Do you just fill in what you want and they get it?
That is EXACTLY how it works, which means you can specify brands and stores. They'll send you a quote pretty quickly, too, and they're more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Actually we used them last year for our DVC Studio at the Poly. LOVED them. Everything was there when we arrived, we received text messages letting us know about the delivery, and again, I was really REALLY pleased with their pricing. Plus they post on FB when they make your deliveries, usually with a funny pic, and for ours they were bowing in front of the tiki in the lobby, praying for good weather. I'm willing to believe it worked because we DID have fabulous weather that week. :smooth:

Great!

OK, I will add them as a grocery delivery option to the info I have on Page 1.

:thumbsup2

Can anyone clarify about the current rules of deliveries to the resort? Both by mail (is there a fee for picking up packages mailed via USPS to the front desk) and by courier (Garden Grocery et al, Amazon Prime Pantry Now). At one time, I know they were limiting deliveries to a specific time period in the afternoon, but I haven't heard lately if that is still the case.

:thanks:

Thank you! We have used GG the last 5 trips but find they lack options in some area. We might have to give these guys a try!

We got GG delivery two weeks ago. The only option for delivery time was during that afternoon block. The one change I noticed - in 2014, bell services delivered our groceries to our cabin when we weren't there. This time, they wouldn't bring them until someone was in the room to accept them.

:tiptoe: Put away the pencil and grab your Sharpie Dee ;) DH and I are doing the SAB swing dance in 19 days!!! I ch-ch-changed my reservation this morning to YC SV CL for 3/23-26!!! I was hoping for an EPCOT resort, and yesterday BWI standard and YC CL opened up (I had a garden cottage booked at BWI and decided no). You know how I loves me my CL! I also would love to take a swim!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! I can only guess most of the 5th floor is complete since rooms opened up...just when I had given up on BC/YC availability :cloud9:

In terms of grocery deliveries, I can't recommend Dizzy Dolphin highly enough. They will get you ANYTHING you want, including standard grocery items, custom made gift baskets, bakery cakes and doughnuts, ANY kind of alcohol, small appliances (no kidding, one of their pictures on Facebook had a coffeemaker in it!), and they'll go wherever you direct them to shop. I think their prices are better than Garden Grocer, and you absolutely cannot beat their customer service. I've already got a date marked on my calendar to order from them for our June trip. :teeth:

We used Dizzy Dolphin in Dec. In the past we'd always used We Go Shop but I kept hearing people talking about DD so I wanted to give them a try. While the service itself was fine here's my problem with them. Yes, you go online & fill out the order form to order exactly what you want. It was Christmas week so I put in my order about 3 weeks ahead of time to make sure I got a spot. You then get a total about a day or so later which you must pay 3 days prior to your arrival. I thought their prices were quite high & questioned it. I got a response back saying they would double check & they always try to shop sales, 2 for 1s, etc. That makes zero sense if you have to pay for your order in advance. How do you know what the sale prices will be 2-3 weeks in the future? I did use them but the price I paid was what I was quoted 3 weeks previously & I received no receipt so I honestly have no idea what they really spent I just know what I was charged. Again, I had no problem with the actual service but I don't like ordering groceries like this. In the future I'm going back to using We Go Shop. You pay day of & get a receipt.

Great!

For groceries I'm not sure. I usually just say deliver at your convenience & leave with bell services. Never had a fee to do that. I do know the hotels that have conference centers attached have charged for package deliveries to the front desk.

This is what I was concerned about. At least with GG and Amazon Prime you know the prices of each item.

Here is a link to my photos of the Nantucket Suite. My apologies for the quality, they were taken with my iPhone, and also they're a little bit out of order. I admittedly teared up when they told us we were receiving this, and again upon entering the room. I was obsessed with the armoire, it was so beautiful. The suite has a master bedroom, living and dining area, wet bar with microwave, coffee and a fridge fully stocked with bottled water and sodas. Around he corner of the entry, there was a large half bathroom, I don't have a photo of however. There are two balconies, as the suite is on a corner, one that faces the courtyard, and one off the master that faces stormalong bay. There were several small vases fresh flowers, two bottles of champagne, chocolates, truffles, a basket of goodies, and the solid white chocolate Mickey Mouse, that I brought home There is also a doorbell, which they rang daily, with little cards and treats. I have no idea why we were selected for this amazing magical upgrade, but it was truly a gift. The mouse keeping was superb. The cast members on the club floor referred to us by name every time we came in contact with them. Aside from our wedding at the Yacht Club gazebo, this was absolutely the best vacation we'd ever had at Disney.

Hi everyone,
staying for the first time at yacht club (we are staying club level) to celebrate my toddler's second birthday!
Can you please ad us( me , husband and toddler ) to the BOG List? We are staying (3-11 may)
We are from Brazil and the whole family is nuts about Disney .
The posts of this page are beying super helpful! Thanks everyone!
Just booked my fast passes today, and we are all so excited!
I also checked in online, but coudnt find selections like: near elevator or club level lounge (wich would be great since we have a toddler, and will probably go to the lounge many times during the day)
Is there another way to ask it? I read somewhere that sometimes the concierge contact Club level guests, but I never recieved any mails.
Is there any email adress that I can use to contact them?
Besides that, I'm using Disney magical express to get to the hotel , but since I have an international flight, there was no options to insert flight arrival time or number, although ir shows in my reservations online that I' ll be using this trasportation to get to the hotel.
Thanks everyone.

Room 1511
Beach Club 2 Bedroom Suite
DIS-OH, February 2017

First Floor with patio, in the farthest wing from lobby, but the closest to Epcot!

The suite had the main areas facing the laundry building/quiet pool. The master bedroom windows faced the path to Epcot.

If you come in the secret entrance, you are facing the doors to 1115, at the end of the short hall.

The suite actually had two entrance doors. The main one, which had the room number sign, entered into the dining/living room. To the right was the bedroom with two beds. That bedroom had regular bathroom and a hall with the closet and fancy mirrored set of drawers. The second entrance was in this hall.

To the left of the living room was a short hall with the wet bar, then a huge bathroom with a closet and the make-up/vanity area. At the end of this hall was the bedroom with one bed.

The half wall separates the
dining area and the wet bar.

@ohMom

Thank you for the update.

If you happen to get a chance can you take notice of the hours at Stormalong Bay?

Snap a picture of the current beer selection in the lounge.

I'm assuming part of the Fittings & Fairings gift shop in the YC lobby is till under construction- have you been in?

ENJOY the rest of your trip!

:thanks:

1) Request for close to lounge/close to elevator (same thing)

As you said, the requests you want are not part of the online check-in. You can add those requests to your reservation by phone, or if you booked through a travel agent, they can do it. How did you book your trip? The telephone number to add a room request to your reservation is, but I'm not sure if you use a different number for reservations from Brazil. I know there is a special number for guests from the United Kingdom. There is no way to email or to make the requests not listed for on line checkin other than to call:

Walt Disney World Resort Reservations: (407) 939-1936

* my Canadian friends- is this the number you use for reservations, or something else?

2) Here is the contact information for planning help- like making dining or other reservations. The process was recently changed and the Cast Members you deal with are not exclusive to the Yacht and Beach Club, they do the planning for all of the club level resorts

Contact information for the Beach Club Stone Harbor Club and the Yacht Club Regatta Club:

Disney Signature Services has replaced the resort-specific Itinerary Planning Offices. This centralized service is once again able to help guests with Disney Club Level reservations make plans, including Advanced Dining Reservations for upcoming trips.

Disney.Signature.Services@disneyworld.com or 407-939-7777.

This contact info should only be used for guests who have confirmed club level reservations.

3) Magical Express for International Travelers

I need some help from others with this one- Does the flight info need to be called in, and do you use the regular Magical Express number?

This is the info I have on Page 1, Post 14 for Magical Express contact info

Magical Express contact number: (866) 599-0951 or call reservations

I see @natebenma provided the link. They are very nice to deal with even through email. Sometimes it can take a day or two for the email response but you will receive a response. Have a wonderful trip!
