Anyone waiting to try (the hopefully new and improved) PH once it is completed?

I am anxious to see how PH turns out, after they finish the renovation. It once was a must do, but that faded away several years ago. I am wanting to love this new, and hopefully improved version!

Anyone know when it will be completed?

The only information that they've given out regarding release date is that they anticipate re-opening in October. They post information and updates frequently on their Facebook page, so follow them there to stay updated on an official announcement!

Nope, There are lots of good choices at Disney Springs and I figure this is low on my priority list until there's a lot of proof that 'new' means "we learned how to cook"

Curious to see what the new decor will be on the inside more than to eat there.

We had awful dining experiences there the last two or three times we gave them a chance. However, we're always willing to give any restaurant new go's after they refirb, etc.

I remember loving it, say 15 years ago? I say several years ago like it was recent Time has slipped away from me ...But anyway, the last time we ate there was probably in 2007. We hated it! Never returned. I am all for giving it another try, and maybe reminiscing on when I loved it growing up.

Ive avoided it previously just because of the reviews but id like to book it for the first night of my November trip! Ive been to the Disneyland Paris location and was less than impressed but I hoping they're upping their game to compete with all the new disney springs openings.

DW LOOOOOOOOVES the deep fried lasagna. If that is still on the menu after the refurb, we will definitely be back!

I have many places to checkout before going back to PH, but I am interested on how it might have changed.

I think so too! It's a cool concept, and the food used to be good. I hope it can be good again. Not that I need more choices in DS. I'm not sure how I'll eat everywhere.

We have eaten at PH 3 times and always had good meals. My DD loves the LA lasagna also. She is not an adventurous eater so PH is a good fit for us. It is just so darned loud and the staff was just so-so.

We are locals, so we head to DS often for lunch/dinner and/or a movie. For a while it did not seem like anything was really happening, but last week we noticed some action going on, and some changes happening. But with that said, I am not sure about an October opening, Not unless some pixie dust and Disney magic gets in there and goes to work.

As far as when we went we never had a bad meal, only once a server that was less than attentive to us. It was very loud in there, we are hoping that the new theme will have that element left out.

We are looking forward to trying the new PH..

We were actually fans of PH, never had a bad meal. So I am planning on trying it out when it re-opens.

when it was just DH and I, it was a good lunch spot before a movie or whatnot in DTD. Their Caesar salad was really good, and they had a turkey sandwich, DH's go to lunch; and never a wait for a table.

That said, I just saw the article on the main page that said that Guy Fieri was going to have a hand in the menu/food. So, nope, not going back!
