Frozen Ever After LIVE reports!

I am curious how the FP availability is for this ride.

Will it be near impossible to get even at 60 days (right at the beginning of the window) like SDMT and A&E meet and greet?

I would think the capacity of this ride is pretty low compared to a lot of rides, but since there is Tiering at Epcot, I would imagine that a lot of people may be 'forced' to forgo a Fast Pass if they prefer Test Track or Soaring.

I'm guessing you may be quite right! Our 60 day window opens mid-July and I'm anticipating all the FP+ might be gone when I log in as we are going there the second day of our trip. Thankfully we're also going on the 5th day so holding out hope things might go better that time. We'll also be there in September pre-Food & Wine so hoping crowds are lower. Time will tell...:fish:

We are about 5 weeks out and there is still quite a bit of availability for FEA during our stay (mostly late afternoon and evening time slots.) I'm guessing those will be allocated at the 30 day mark.

Does anyone know if they're still selling all of the Norway merchandise, or is it almost exclusively frozen stuff now?

Thanks so much! That is great to hear! I'll be booking our FP+ ressies at 7am on our 60 day window so hopefully all will go well for availability. Thanks again for letting me know!

For an "evacuation", does that mean people were actually ON the boats at the time and need to be taken off of them when everything just stopped?

It would seem so. There's a video posted on one of these threads of a person who was making a video of the ride yesterday and got as far as Olaf and Sven, and the ride stopped. They sat for about 15-20 minutes, then the lights came on and cast members came around to help them out of the boats and onto the walkways out of the attraction.

What do you guys think is causing all the malfunctions? Because obviously the ride works, like, 10% of the time...

There was plenty of FP availability for FEA at 30 days, but we got a FP for Soarin', because we all love it. We do have a PPO at Akershus, so we will attempt standby unless of course FEA is out of order.

Our 60 day window opened yesterday, but my days were mixed up, so I didn't get online until the evening. I was still able to get a 3 PM FEA FP+ for day 1. There was morning availability later in the trip.

I guess my question is... how do you physically stand in line for 5 hours? I'm assuming that if you are waiting in the hot sun, you are keeping yourself hydrated and you are going to need to use the restroom within that 5 hour window. And/or you are going to need to sit down... i'm not sure how it's done and why would you do that for a 2 minute ride?

Having worked in software/website development for many years, I can only imagine the stress they're experiencing on such a public launch. It would have started with months of "Marketing/Leadership says we must launch by [date]!" "QA just found 60 new bugs!" "When can we launch??!!", followed by the last 72 hours of nonstop emergency phone calls and emails and all-night meetings. What a nightmare.

Our 60 day mark was yesterday morning and when I logged in at 7am (or 7:01am), the earliest time for the ride was 2:45pm. Our Epcot day is 1 day after our check in so I am sure if our Epcot day was later in our stay, we would have had something earlier in the day. I didn't check A&E (didn't even notice it on the list) but 7DMT for both our MK days later in our stay were pretty wide open. Good luck.

No FP for A&E anymore, I think pp was referring to the difficulty people had getting one when they were in MK. Now that there are 3 rooms in Epcot, wait times seem to be a bit more manageable.

This may have been asked but does Frozen open at 11:00 like all the other world showcase attractions? princess:
