Set my alarm for 4:15, about 4:30 I was able to modify my Exosti g reservation and see the availability for the RO offer for our trip...unfortunately we wanted POFQ or POR RR, but neither had anything new available at all...did modify my existing choice (pop preferred pool) to save the money via the discount! Did anyone see availability at PO for RO discount in October?

Well - I decided to book it anyway. Couldn't have it all be for nothing last night. Maybe I can modify later on? But for now I booked us for the cabins. Never stayed there. Will have to research it a bit more today.

I didn't love that the park hopper was already included - and that I had to pay another 47.80 to add the water parks on as well. Although to be fair adding that would have actually lowered my package price by 26 dollars if I hadn't dropped the tickets to just two days. Which I will think about as well - lots to consider. But we are on the books for something, anyway, and now the obsessing about planning rather than just about booking can begin!

And now to get ready for work, for which I am supposed to leave in ten minutes....

Was up at 4:15ish and logged into my MDE. As expected no FD for Poly but now contemplating moving to another deluxe it's very tempting! we'll probably just stick with what we have, take a RO if made available and no dining plan since we have an 8 year old and a Disney adult that eat like birds. LOL!

Anyway, regardless, this has been so fun and I'm excited to read all the plans and adjustments you're all making! Congrats!!

Funny story actually...I didnt bother to set my alarm because wifey is up at 5:00am anyway....but nature work me up at 4:00 so I decided to check and it came right up.

I made a ressie at AKL just in case.....with FD. Now I have to decide if I should skip our home at the POLY and try AKL.....Decisions.... Decisions.....

Anyone know what time this actually dropped>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I am curious to see since I woke up on my own....

I doubt anyone got a POLY FD in November , as I thought...

Good morning! I went to bed at 12:15 when FD didn't happen at midnight... woke up and ran downstairs to my desk.... I logged in to the BEAUTIFUL free dining on the Disney home page. Aaaahhh!!!! (Angel's singing). After not being able to check out for some reason from my laptop... it would take me to the step where I add the members in my party.... I then logged in from my phone and I got Standard View room for CBR September 3 thru 10th with 6 day park hopper. I am so so so happy! It took me 27 minutes from start to finish with the laptop debacle.

Anyone have luck at the Polynesian? I fell asleep at 3:50am and woke up at 5 and no availability. Got something at Old Key West, anyone been? My backup ressie at CBR only has pirate room available and not too excited about that

We stayed at the cabins our first two times visiting Disney. The kids were small then and it was perfect - they have a fantastic campfire movie which chip and dale attend (at least they did then). If you have a car you won't need a golf cart but even if you don't have a car there internal bus service was great and we mostly left our car behind.

BTW you can just choose the water park and not take park hopper - that will save you some coin.

Thanks to all who have kept this thread entertaining! I was able to get POP for the dates I was looking for (mid-Sept). I really wish PH wasn't required, as we don't need that, and it eats into what we could have saved, but ... after pricing it out using RoomOnly discount, and adding non-PH & DDP, it was still slightly cheaper to use the "Free" dining offer. There's only 2 of us, and we're only getting 2 park day tickets with a 4 night ressie -- so I can see where different circumstances would mean different savings using other packages.
Good luck to those who haven't gotten what they wanted yet!

Side note about the "Modify/Cancel" option -- I kept refreshing that page, and eventually the button came back (instead of just seeing the "call to cancel/modify") -- considering how busy phones are likely to be, you may want to try refreshing that page several times to see if your online option comes up (if that's what you're trying to do ...)

UGH phone isn't going through. Has anybody ever successfully changed their existing reservation at art of animation to include free dining? I was on right away yet it wouldnt let me do it online. Is it seriously sold out already?

Totally agree it takes a lot more planning to treble from another county. Do you know if Disney has offers for US residents to tracked to their parks outside the US? Just curious.

I logged right on at 4am. The only rooms available at all for my dates of Sept 27-Oct was CBR pirate room. I grabbed it but I sure hope it can be changed. How does changing work? Would I have to place another deposit?

I was hoping if I kept positive, I'd get lucky! LOL!! But yes, in my heart I knew it wasn't going to show availability for the Poly. Cracking up bc I almost made another new reservation too! I was thinking BC or AKL, but my family is hell bent on staying at Poly since it was under construction and we stayed at the GF last time we were there. I try to get my husband and girls to branch out a bit, but all these years being spoiled by the monorail has left them tough to convince. They know what they like. LOL!!

Pretty sure we'll try for RO and no DDP. If we switch to BC it only saves us a few hundred bucks ultimately.

Well, this is officially the first time I did not get free dining. Tried at 6am EST and on and nothing in CBR or POR for us. Tried all the dates FD is offered. Will keep trying but looks like Disney is not happening for us this year. Hope everyone else got what they wanted.

Just a couple minutes after 4am EST, 4:03am, I believe. My husband's a computer guy and set it up to sound an alarm when their offer page changed. It checked every 2 minutes, and the alarm went off at 3:05CST.
