Everyone's excitement is making this even more depressing Someone tell me there might still be hope that availability will be added. I was hoping maybe it was just an online thing that I was seeing so little availability, but it sounds like it's not a fluke. Apparently I just have horrible dates.

I am almost certain that more rooms will open up in a few weeks. Don't lose hope yet. Disney will release more, and people will move stuff around which will free up more rooms. I am sure you are not out of luck!

I just checked for my dates, and wow, it is limited! The only thing left at CBR for 11/26-12/3 are the pirate rooms. Pop and the All stars were still available-for right now anyway.

And my family thinks I'm for setting an alarm all through the night just to book FD. Hmph.

Keep checking everyone. I am trying to cancel my old reservation which was partially over FD dates to free up rooms but it isn't letting me yet so I am sure as people have said more rooms will become available.

Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Got an email from my TA - she got me the offer for our Grand Floridian stay in September!

Keep that TA!! Mine said she'll "try" when she gets into office at 10am. I made a new reservation myself online that will hopefully be able to be transferred to her. But, this will be my first and last time with a TA. Did not like giving up the control, especially when I ended up doing all the work anyway. Lol

Woohoo!!!! Booked for CSR standard. Was hoping for CBR but oh well.

Already had a CBR standard room booked for 5 nights in mid December with base tickets. FD was available online, but I had to add the qualifying park hopper tickets to get the dining offer. When I went to change my reservation, the add-on costs to get FD came out to $425 for 2 adults and one small child spending four days at the resort. We REALLY want to stay at CBR this time, so dropping to another, less expensive resort isn't an option.

Since we were originally going to pay for meals out of pocket (dining plans tend to give us more food than we want), we can just about get all the meals we want for the cost of upgrading to FD. I'll wait till summer and see if WDW extends the RO offer past November.

Research on this thread has been very useful!

Smart....free dining is NOT always the best deal for families.

Did anyone get a standard, garden or preferred at POR?
Right now I booked CSR with a standard.

As predicted by black and Dirty Steve my check in date of 11/12 is not included; very happy with my Magical deal at ASSp, saved us quite a bit of money over a split stay. thanks black and Steve for your knowledge and assistance.

Got started very shortly after the promo dropped. Very Limited availability at Y&B Club. At first standard room was available at YC then that quickly went away.

Had to go with a Pool/Lagoon View at BC because no Garden or Standard rooms available for the FD. It was a hefty increase from my orig choice of Garden View!

What are the chances that ......if I keep trying in the next few days.... I will be able to get a Garden View that's included in the FD deal?

Dang. I would have even booked a pool or river. But the Royal rooms are just too rich for my blood.

I got a Garden for my dates (8/29-9/5).

I tried cancelling mine at 4:15 am and it wouldn't let me but I checked about 15 min ago and I was able to.

It's either full for your dates or you're trying for dates after 10/1.

So question for your guys RR with free dining was $2900 my TA has a deal for POFQ FOR $2550 or CBR for $2524. Which would you do (all have dining included).

I'd go POFQ in a heartbeat for the lower cost.

So this year you had to purchase a 5night/6day package to get the deal....wasn't it last year you had to do a minimum of 2(or3) nights?

Im not sure why is says 5 nights, I booked four and still got free dining.

I think you will be good Last year, I stressed about it and was on hold for 4 hours to get it. But my sister-in-law was able to book Free Dining at the same resort on the last day that you were able to book. If I would have known that there would be so many rooms opening up a few weeks later, I would have just waited like she did lol

I saw garden and pool rooms earlier, but I hesitated as I wanted to keep my standard room. Now, I only see royal rooms available at POR.
