Does anyone else dislike Space Mountain? isnt it just overrated.

I personally love it, but I love thrill rides. It can be a bit jerky so I can see how someone may not like it.

I have always liked Space Mountain for sentimental reasons. When I was younger, I didn't ride roller coasters, but I braved it out and rode Space Mountain with my dad. I loved it! Now that I am quite a bit older, it jerks around so much and my neck hurts after riding it. My new favorite is EE! It is a much smoother ride and I like that it is outside and the theming and the yeti!

I like coasters and have really enjoyed it in the past, but I can take it or leave it anymore depending on how I feel. I'm taller so I feel like I'm being folded in half to fit. That only enhances the jolts from turns and drops. My plan for this trip is to let DW ride with the two older kids first while I take DD5 on the People Mover, first getting a rider switch pass for me to use "later." Then if I'm in the mood I'll ride with the two older kids. If I'm not I'll let the kids browbeat DW into riding again.

Out of all the rides at DW, Space M is the one that makes me feel yucky for the rest of the day. I don t know why. I have some weird 3d, even some Wii games my kids play, makes me feel weird. The floating in space part really messes with me.

We rode it last trip because my DH and kids haven't. My kids didn't like it at all. They said they would rather ride T.O.T.....which doesn't surprise me because that's their fave. ride anyway.

Just hit 40 years old and I would ride it 5-10 times in a row if the line was short. Its just a unique ride experience I enjoy. The ride is as old as I am and is similar to those fair coasters so its a bit ricketty but having been on real rough rides I would never call it rough, ricketty yes but not rough.

The only time I ever rode it, I was 12, and the restraints gave me bruises. NOT A FAN. But, I'm going to offer it up and go with my daughter this time. Only once, though.

It's a 'must do' every WDW trip, the first thing we do an MK. I bruised a rib on it a few years back, it's not smooth but it's iconic.

I love it when it's actually working. Our last two trips it was down on and off for hours at a time and the time before that it was being refurbished. We haven't been on it in years even though it's "open" when we visit.

I dislike the current Space Mountain, they've made it much rougher more recently. I felt a bit queasy after going on about 5 years ago and haven't been back on since

I use to like, but I don't anymore. It's too jerky now. When I get off I'm in pain, so I now wait for my DD in the gift shop. Makes me kind of sad that I can't ride with her anymore. But I'd rather skip it, then be in pain for hours afterwards.

I'm not a fan - I rode it on my honeymoon for the first time and it was super jerky. I probably won't ever ride it again unless my daughter wants me to
