Is there a way to reply to someone's replies....whey they are using the feature to reply to multiple posts? There is no post a reply section at the bottom right when people do this. So....if I want to say something to the multiple replies from one person, is there a way? Also, I cannot figure out how to do this myself. I've read the instructions about replying to more than one post but I still can't figure it out. I guess I need more specific details. Thank you. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To reply to multiple posts, you click "+Quote" in the lower right corner of those posts you wish to quote. Then, underneath the reply window (that you type your reply in), click on "insert Quotes" A window opens showing all the quotes you are replying to. Click on "Quote These Messages" in the lower right corner. Then all the quotes will show up in the reply window.

You can then click your cursor at the end of each quote to reply to that one. Or you can just click the cursor at the end of all quotes if you are making one reply for everyone.

I think I got it....let me try on other thread...and thanks for helping me!

Whoohoo! Thanks again. You were just so helpful. One more question...since you know your stuff. When u start a conversation with someone, it gives you a box to check, locked or allow others to join. When it's locked....does that mean the one person u sent it to....cannot respond back...or only anyone else?

AFAIK, it means only those people you designate can participate in the conversation. The other person cannot add people to the conversation.

I believe checking the box for "Lock conversation (no responses will be allows)" means just that, not even the person to whom you originally directed the conversation will be allowed to reply.
Checking the box for "Allow anyone in the conversation to invite others" will let other participants invite a new participant into the conversation, up to a maximum of 10 participants total. By leaving this box unchecked, the other(s) you have directed your message to cannot bring someone else into the conversation without first asking you to do so.

Basically, to have a back-and-forth dialog with one or more others, and to keep the message between just you, do not check either of these boxes. The default also leaves these boxes unchecked.

I've got to ask this again...as I'm still having problems. How can I comment on an original post, not the reply to a post that's already been replied to. I see folks copy multiple original posts and reply to each one. If I highlight the post in the blue box, hit + quote, then hit insert quote, it shows what I highlighted in the box that comes up, but when I hit insert quote, it puts in the response to the quote, not the original quote. Help?

I haven't figure out how to quote a quote, if you do please let me know.

You can work around it by multi-quoting both, and then after you Insert the quotes to your response, you have adjust the

portion or cut/paste to put the original inside the second. But it can be near-impossible when working on a phone as opposed to a computer. You have to place it just right or the whole thing gets messed up.

So, I highlighted what is in the box, and what appears is the response to the quote. This is the part I don't get. If I want to respond to a quote, after someone else has already responded, how do I do this. I see it all the time on the boards. There may be five or six responses to the same original quote, not responses to the responses. What am I not getting?

So I'm responding to my own quote...here.

Now, I want to respond to the part that says, "So, I highlighted what is in the box...." and respond to that, not to the response of "So I'm responding to my own quote....here." Am I making myself clear?

(AT least when using a web browser on a desktop/laptop. Not sure how different this looks on a phone)
