Gasprilla is reopened. We've ate there at least once this week.

As far as monorail goes it's been opening at 8:30 and staying till hour after parks. The Epcot one is being the most finicky.
Does it look any different? What did they do? We arrived the day before it closed, and so only had one meal there. We were staying at Poly, but daughter loves the burger there so had to go.

You have now encountered "THE PROBLEM!" I feel like I'm cheating on the GF when I stay anywhere else on property. But next month we are going for Food and Wine, so it is much more convenient to stay at an Epcot resort........and then ALL the nieces decided they wanted to come while I'm there in February so we are doing a spilt stay --I'm not staying in a single room with 5 with only 1 bathroom, so we are for the first time staying value at AOA -- the kids picked it out -- 16, 17, 23 and 24, so I'm game if they are. They've all stayed with me at the GF before so it is going to be an experience!

Tom
So true! We just returned from a great stay at Poly, enjoyed it very much. But, next year it's back to GF, lol. Must replenish my chocolate stash :-)

Hi there everyone! I just want to say thank you for the advice I was give a while back before our latest trip on room selections etc. We had a great time and got the building we wanted (Boca Chica) and our room was 8436. Here are some pictures for future reference...

Thanks again everyone!

I'm finally getting a chance to catch up to this thread. I love your pics @FastPassPluto, they look great. What lens did you use? Did you use raw and process them? What ap, iso, and ss did you use for the outdoor shots? Are those info on the flickr page?

Honestly I can't see any differences.

I've got a little bit of a time before I need to get some sleep.

Everything about the hotel has been great along with the concierge lounge. It honestly reminded us of why we use to always stay concierge. The staff in Sugarloaf were always friendly and if we needed something got it. Major bonus for having silk milk cartons and diet coke caffeine free to drink. The GF Cafe is still absolutely fantastic! Most of our major issues came down to transportation issues and that was more with sometimes having to flag down someone to get the ramp off the monorail or driver forgetting that was our stop in one instance. The counter service seems to be lacking in dessert options that aren't ice cream or cupcakes. Much fewer fruit options this year. I didn't get to enjoy the pool, the weather didn't get good till yesterday and today was packing day :(.

Wifi is much better here then it was at Contemporary. The rooms though they are smaller then the Contemporary are actually more functional. We found one thing that helped was the square cubes you can store things in we put extra clothes in those and stored them in top of the closet. We also used a small dollar store cube for my makeup. The balcony was much nicer to sit out on as well. The new washers/dryers are much more efficient then the old ones. Took less time to do the laundry then we had planned.

I think that's covered a good amount. I can answer any questions to the best I can about anything.

Hi - where are the closest washer and dryers if you are staying concierge? We may need to do a load while we are there - and are they all debit/cc enabled now?

The closest ones was the building right next to sugarloaf. I think conch key. They are debit/cc enabled. There's only two washers/dryers. We went early on a Thursday morning and did laundry.

This was posted in the CR/BLT thread:
