HERE IS OUR NEW THREAD:

New BC/YC FAQ-Post Here May 2015

http://www.disboards.com/threads/new-bc-yc-faq-post-here-may-2015.3400342/

I have to head off to work in a few minutes. For now, post any questions, answers or comments you have about the Beach Club, Yacht Club or Beach Club Villas here.

This afternoon, when I am home, I will see if we either have an unlocked thread or I will start up a new one and I will migrate any questions from the previous board and this thread there.

As always, you can access the info on Page 1 by clicking on the link in my signature.

Thanks for your patience!!!

Whew! Found you Dee!! Thanks for all your work on this thread!!!

I just looked at the other thread and it said I did not have privileges to post there, then I found this! I fell better now. Thanks Dee.

Today's questions, going from BC to DHS, I know the walk is about a mile but if we have a rental car should we drive?

We always take the boat. It's a nice, relaxing ride. I wouldn't drive from BC/YC.

But I thought you cannot get the boat early morning?

I think the boats start an hour before park open. Definately running in plenty of time to make rope drop. But it is a very pleasant walk, especially early in the morning. Takes us 15- 20 minutes from YC depending on how fast we walk. If a boat is at the dock or just approaching, we take the boat. If we just missed a boat or don't see it, we walk. And in that case we always beat the next boat to HS.

Found everyone!! Whew...thought maybe I did something bad and got blocked. Maybe something to do with being from California? Lol!

Unless you are lazy like me. Then I'll wait for the boat. :D

As for the list locking I would just like to say that I have an alibi and that I had nothing to do with it.

Unfortunately you were the first one I thought of this morning when I was locked out!:P

Really looking forward to this walk! Thanks for the great tip!

walk over to the parks - but sometimes take the boat back - if I am tired - now if the line is too long (you won't be getting on the boat) then walk back too - but I generally stay at BWV so it is a much shorter walk from Studios - longer from Epcot.

lots of WDW guests take the boat to get to Epcot.

Can't wait for either the new thread to get going or our old thread gets unlocked. I need my Yacht & Beach Club daily fix.:)

Thanks for your hard work Dee:worship:
