A room discount offer is also is now available for stays between August 15 and October 3.

Up to 30% - Animal Kingdom Lodge (Standard/Pool View), Boardwalk Inn, Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village Resort, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Villas, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs.

Got up at 5:30am est to check FD and saw its live! However, both CBR and CSR are showing no availability for std room for FD the dates we want so sticking with POFQ. Crazy how the mod rooms have gone sooo quickly!! Maybe next year we will get FD or I get super lucky and get a RO discount or a pin.

Congrats to those that got what they wanted!!

I believe They didn't go quickly, I think they just never included them in the package (at least for OCT/NOV). It appeared to me that Disney only offered the upgraded rooms on the packages during the OCT/NOV dates, all the room types were available during that time at CBR if you do not do the package but as soon as I changed to the package all I could get was the Pirate Room. I'm happy anyway, it will be something different having a themed room and my kids will love it.

Since everyone on here is saying standard rooms were gone with FD, I'm thinking that Disney just didn't include them in the promo. Basically, you can eat for free but you'll have a more expensive room and have to pay for PH. They're definitely thinning the FD crowd.

I got a standard room at a value resort. Maybe because it's not a super popular hotel and mid sept? I happened to wake about soon after FD went live and was able to get in on it pretty quick too.

Had to make a split stay of a single night for Oct 24. Then got POP for the 25th through the 30th.

My ADR's opened today but because of the split stay I can't make my ressies for the 26th on.

I was able to get a standard room at CBR but my dates are in November.

Get a Free dining plan when you purchase a non-discounted 6-night/7-day Magic Your Way package that includes a room at a select Disney Resort hotel and tickets with Park Hopper or Water Park Fun & More Option

They actually did the 6 night minimum... I guess it was a move to curtail the locals from using it for a weekend getaway.

It's still only a 3-night minimum, don't worry!

Now I am freaking out, on my confirmation page it clearly says my package includes "Disney Dining Plan (Complimentary)" but on the email that got sent to me it says "Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (Complimentary)"! We are at CBR so it should be the DDP which is what was selected when I booked and what showed on the confirmation page after I paid. Anybody else have this happen on a moderate ???????

EDIT: So under MDE I just checked and it shows the following...

Dining Plan: 2015 Quick Service Meals, 2015 Table Service Meals - Adult, 2015 Table Service Meals - Child

Is that right? Is that what it is supposed to show if you got the DDP (we have 2 adults and 2 kids over 10)?

I'm seeing the same thing. Guessing it's an issues with the text of the email because the website has the correct information.

For anyone who cancelled a previous reservation, did you receive a cancellation email? I took a screenshot of my cancellation, but didn't receive any other type of confirmation.

I didn't get an email either. I also took a screen shot of my cancellation and it's no longer showing up in MDE now. I guess all we can do is watch for the refund to the credit card and call if we don't get it?

I got standard for December at CSR and then modified it to std at CBR a bit later. Depends on how much was available for your dates.
