This is correct but I understand that you can also use Table Service for Quick Service meals so there's an option to book a Table Service or 2 and then use the rest of the TS credits at QS locations.
Yes, we swapped one of our TS for a CS in September. Just tell them when checking out to use a TS credit instead

I would love to try CBR although the snake thing kinda freaking me out. My fam loves POR and my DD refuses to stay anywhere else..LOL
So we may just keep everything as is.

I didn't see any snakes at CBR when I was there. The only time I came across one was at ASMo

Can't bank on that being true, Disney's answer is that you cannot use TS credits. But, some people have had random luck at random restaurants. So, it might not always work.

:bounce:Really hoping rumors are correct and we can have FD for POR check in Oct 1st. We can't imagine staying anywhere else.

I didn't mean to scare you with my post. Seeing a snake at any Disney resort is a rare thing because the grounds keepers/maintenance are on top of their property and usually know whats what. If you & your family love CBR, then I wouldn't let this get in your way.

I have also been told by people who stay at CBR all the time that they have never seen a snake. My problem was that I am terrified of them so I would literally freeze and not want to go anywhere else.

Actually, this has been Disney policy for the last few years. You must use up all of your QS credits first, and then they will start pulling from your TS credits.

There is an update from the viajeromagico.com site. Here is the google translation:

April 23, 2014.-

There will be free meals in September, October, November and December 2015 at Walt Disney World Resort.

Earlier today the Twitter account of viajeromagico.com anticipated the expected news (see photo)

There's no official word but travel agents have received the codes to promote free meals during September, October, November and December 2015.

To receive this offer check-in must fall within the following dates:

From August 15 to October 2

From October 25 to October 31

From November 8th to November 19th

From December 15 to December 21.

Entering (first day) to the hotel in one of these four periods get free meals for the entire stay.

Value Hotels Disney Dining Plan Quick receive and Moderate and Deluxe hotels are regularly Disney Dining Plan.

Hotels excluded:

The most notable exclusions hotels are the All Star Movies and standard rooms Little Mermaid in the Art of Animation and Port Orleans French Quarter.

In the case of Port Orlearns Riverside, is included only during the period from August 15 to October 2, being excluded for the rest of the dates of October, November and December.

Rules:

What is important to determine if the promotion applies to a stay shall be the date of check in. Stay must begin within any of the consigned periods and then get meals for all contracted nights.

It is possible that the above rule exception to suffer after the December 21 nights.

The promotion may be contracted between April 27 and August 7 in travel agencies.

It is compulsory to take at least two days for tickets with hotel nights. Stays must be a minimum of 3 nights and a maximum of 14 nights.

We reiterate that these data apply in principle to travel agencies.

However it is very likely that the promotion is announced by identical or similar for direct contracts with Disney via official website.

If there were any differences between direct Disney and travel agency, chances are older posibildad fewer days for the second half of August and hiring more restricted dates. Next week these little questions will be cleared.

I stand corrected. I know that in 2013 we were told this wasn't possible by the front desk at POR and again at two Epcot CS restaurants (we had to cancel some meals due to my son getting sick).

The rumor is that either 4/24 or 4/27 could be visa release and 4/27 or 5/1 could be general public release.

Yes, as long as your check in date is on an available date you will get free dining for your whole stay.

All of these date ranges start on a weekend except Dec. Why start on a Tuesday? I had planned 12/13-12/18. I wonder why that weekend is excluded.

How reliable is the site that listed the dates and stated that POR is included until October 2? Where do they get their info from?

front desk employees typically are not aware of dining plan rules, and not sure what happened with the Epcot places, but it has been the rule since 2011, I believe. There are emailed responses floating around her somewhere. Lol

I was booked for CBR this past February but had an early am international flight out of Orlando so realized I would have to get to the distant bus pickup at approx 3 am. In the dark. And CBR is really spread out and I didn't know where my standard room would be located. I could have tried to arrange for a pickup golf cart but didn't have much confidence in it because it was the middle of the night. Since I knew I would worry about it my whole trip, I switched to AS Music. Yes, there have been a few snake issues at CBR. It has a lot of water and mature growth vegetation so this is to be expected. It is central Florida. However, I just decided I didn't want to deal with anything at 3 am. I blame my crappy international Air Canada flight. Never CBR. Its a beautiful resort.

Um SNAKES!!! geesh. Walking is one thing and I know it's all nature but ya I'm such a wimp even thinking about a snake is giving me the creeps.
You should see me at any zoo or caged snack places. I just about crawl up my husbands back creeped out and that's caged. ewwwwwww
What do you mean "few snake issues"? Please not in the rooms.
Ya 3am at any resort is not a long walk desire for me either.
Because of the work issues we are challenged by and my potential day or two solo.......I am going to rethink CBR. Walking a distance alone anytime of day even at Disney......critters everywhere, it's nature!
RO might be the way to go if I can get POR or POFQ, since I know them and feel confident there.
We'll see. So many details I have to look at to come to a firm decision....and then availability impacts too.

Oh and our airline just adjusted flight times from our airport of choice. It was a 5am check out for flight, but now they moved it to an afternoon flight so we won't have to leave until later in the morning. Much better!!!!

I consider that my first pixiedust: for this trip. Now to just be able to book before prices go up again.

Roll Call

Going Sept 23rd-30th. Hopefully the rumors are true and we can keep our reservation at POR but if not we will switch for FD!
