Sorry to any Carnival fans out there but you couldn't pay me to cruise with them right now NKOTB or not.

I'm cruising this year! Of course since we're still in FL the cruise is out of NYC. Shelby (my friend from NH) is getting married next summer so we figured we'd go big before she gets married.

We went cheap and just did the inside 1A room. Here we come bunk beds! We're just excited to be there! We're on the deck below the lido deck.

I'll have to miss the last day of school which stinks, but it's a once in a lifetime thing.

No cruise for me - at least not the NKOTB cruise We are going on a 9 day cruise with my family in April, I couldn't justify trying to fork over money for the NKOTB cruise 2 months later. LOL

Family cruise sounds fun!

We're super excited! We're moving back to NH sometime between now and July so my mom asked what if we need to move the weekend of the cruise. No, no mom! I'll plan better than that!

I'm resurrecting our thread!

So the time has come. Shelby and I leave for NYC tomorrow afternoon. I'm packed and ready to go! Our departure has been a bit delayed because Shelby's best friend from work called and said she didn't realize we were leaving the day before and they planned her work shower for tomorrow after school. So instead of leaving at 3:30 we'll be leaving closer to 5. It worked out though because I missed my eyebrow appointment and 3:30 tomorrow was the only time they could fit me in.

We're going to celebrate Shelby's bachelorette party on the boat because she gets married in July. It should be a blast!

I'm super excited to go to Bermuda since I've never been. We're still undecided on what we'll do there.

It's midnight and even though I have to be up at 5 (to work :-( yuck!) I can't sleep. All I could think of was the Disney commercial "I'm too excited to sleep."

I'm sure I'll write a post about the cruise when we get back!

Have so much fun! I only did it once but it was a blast. My only advice is to try and get SOME sleep. I got almost none from fear of missing something and I was fine for the whole cruise but SO sick when I got home. LOL

Thanks Karen! We're hoping to sleep a little since we get back Monday and we both have to work Tuesday.

I'm back! The only way I can explain the cruise is that it was THE BEST WEEKEND EVER! It seriously was more fun than I ever could imagine.

Highlights include:

Partying 2 nights in the VIP section thanks to a great security guard.
Going to Donnie's after party.
Getting pics with all the guys.
Our room was so close to the Lido deck that we didn't have to use the bathroom on the Lido during events.
Opening out door to go up to the Lido for the "fake wedding" only to find Danny Wood in the process of signing our door.
The beach in Bermuda.
We didn't sit out early for any events, just arrived a bit before it was supposed to start and we always ended up near the front.

It was so much fun! We went from saying that the trip was a once in a lifetime thing to talking about next year.

There was one bad night where the crowd was nuts. People were pushing and shoving. One girl called me a very un-dislike word and then told me I was "nothing" because I wouldn't let her push me out of the way. But other than that...all positives!

Oh yeah, the the reality tv crews were annoying too. They were always in the way and at one point Shelby got hit in the head with a camera. Then they tried to grab Shelby and move her but thankfully Jay, the security guard, came over and told them to leave because we had paid for the cruise and they weren't paying us to be on the show so we deserved to enjoy it.

Ahh! Good for you! I would love one of those but I figure if I have $1000 to spend on NKOTB I might as well put it towards the cruise. I'm going to wait to decide on the cruise until this summer. We have lots of things up in the air right now, moving, babies and jobs.

We are going to go to Boston and I might go to Nee York because a friend of mine has first row seats she is selling.

I went to New York this week for the press conference . It was fun!

Whoa! How fun!!!

Not sure if I'll make it to one this summer or not. We will be move again... oh the joys of the military... so, summer plans are on hold until we know for sure what is happening with the move. Bummed that the shows around Iowa are on weeknights so I won't be able to go home to go to a show with my high school friends.

Elena, happy you were able to go to the press conference! Bet it was a blast!!!

I am going to the Indy and Louisville shows. I already got tickets for Indy...they are on the floor, row 3 inside aisle at corner of main stage, right next to the vip barstools. I figure why pay $1000 when I can pay $200 and be right next to those seats anyway I've done the meet and greets enough that I'm fine with that Still need to get Louisville tickets. I think I will try to get the other side of the stage for that one.

I haven't even tried for seats yet. My husband and I are considering Hershey for Mixtape and my bff and I will probably go to Philly. Last time I bought tix to Philly not long before the show that were 2nd row...our original seats were horrible and I wasn't excited about them. LOL So if we decide to go, I'll wait again more than likely and take my chances!

Erin, I always wait and end up with great tickets. But this time around I am wondering how the Nelly/TLC fan bases will affect availability closer to the shows. Hmmmmmm...

I've wondered that as well! Let's put it this way, if I can't get tickets that make me happy, I don't plan on going. LOL I won't be content with crappy seats and I will miss seeing the show, but it's not the end of the world either.
