Ladies---Another Park Bag Question

I prefer the cross body because it makes me feel more "hands free." Plus I can get a little more in it. I've had a small Disney Dooney cross body for several years that I love. I recently purchased a Disney Vera Bradley hipster that's a tad larger and I love even more (and I'm not a Vera person).

I got a Disney pattern bag (Vera Bradley hipster) for Christmas!!! I LOVE it. I know that it will make me feel that my things are safe, easy to access, decent space for money, lip balm, sunglasses ... and I will be hands free. Not too bulky either. I love it.:goodvibes

Crossbody or small backpack all the way! I love my Michael Kors iPhone wristlet on a day to day basis, but I wouldn't be able to use it alone in the parks. It would annoy me to have something hanging from my wrist all day.

I agree - I don't "get" the appeal of wristlets. I use a Baggallini messenger bag for WDW and love it. It's not too big, but holds plenty of stuff. And it's very comfortable.

I vote Baggallini aka momma on the go bag! It was the best tip I got off these boards!

I have the VB hipster, the Baggalini messenger, and a (super cute) wristlet.... I usually use mywristlet as just a wallet,as I feel like it's a leash when it's hanging off my wrist...:rotfl2: The VB is SO cute, but just a bit slim for park carrying stuff (rolled up rain jacket, snacks) so Baggalini it is! It is not bigger than my VB, but it is much roomier, and has lots of pockets. With the wristlet/wallet in there too.:rotfl: I guess I don't like wristlets for a long day b/c I also don't like the feel of bracelets, etc.

Another vote for crossbody here! I have a Mosey Gadabout that is perfect! Slim, yet spacious, without being bulky.

I'm curious what style Bagallini crossbody everyone here likes? I'm always looking for a great crossbody bag! Thanks!

I use the cross body Vera Bradley and have for many trips. I love having my hands free and I can fit a LOT in that bag! The wristlet just wouldn't be big enough to hold what I like to carry in the parks and I don't think I'd like having to hold it in my wrist.

Baggallini Zip n Go is my WDW park bag. It's smaller than the messenger, but great for what I carry, which is basically wallet, camera, phone, tissues, notepad, pen... It has multiple sections of various sizes and a magnetized pocket on the back perfect for park guides/maps. It is NOT big enough to carry water, jacket, or things like that, but if you travel light, I like it a lot.

Another vote for crossbody here! I use the VB hipster. Wristlets are great for a night out when you don't need much and can put it down on the table or something, but getting on and off rides, etc. a crossbody ensures you are hands free. I never even take mine off on rides unless completely necessary. Most rides I just lengthen or shorten the strap to accommodate whatever the restraint is for that ride.

For Disney, Crossbody.I like hands free ..For Uni parks, Waistpack.I hate the way they look, but there are several rides where NO bags of any kind ( other than waistpacks) are allowed on and I hate dealing with locker lines.

Cross body! I have a few le sport sac small cleos. They are lightweight, hold a lot, pack well and machine washable! I do bring a wristlet wallet and use that when we go out to dinner and don't need to carry a lot of stuff.

I use my Coach wristlet all the time at home, but in the parks I use my small Michael Kors cross-body bag. For one, I can fit more into it. Two, when I go on rides I can leave it cross-body and it's secure. I don't have to worry about clutching a wristlet while on some rides. I brought both last trip and never used the wristlet.

I definitely vote for crossbody. Its the most secure way to manage a bag without tying up your hands or worrying about dropping anything.:thumbsup2

Small cross body bag.

The wristlet got frustrating when I tried it. All that dangling from my hand and if I put my phone in it, it got heavy and would leave marks on my wrist.

I like the Baggallini Large Wallet Bag: http://www.ebags.com/product/baggallini/walletbagg-large-crinkle-nylon/47357

It has good organizational features and can hang horizontally or vertically. It is small enough to go in my larger carry-on when going through the scanners at the airport, so less to retrieve at the end of the belt.

This exactly! I love my Disney Vera hipster during the day. It holds everything I need it to without being bulky, and I can leave it on when on attractions. Also since we travel in August, it is much cooler to carry than a backpack. When DH and I go out in the evenings, I use just a wristlet to hold my phone and other tiny incidentals.
