**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

We're going at the end of January - are FP needed or recommended for the sing along? Do they get you better seats at all?

Sorry I haven't been paying attention I didn't think anything would still be going on by the time we got to go again!

I am seeing lots of posts from people who are planning to cancel their reservations for the Frozen Premium Pkg. However, someone must be going or they would not be adding a second seating!

Where are all the posts from those who have gone and enjoyed the party or even those who regret having gone!? Only see a very few posted on this thread"

We hav reservations for 12/16. Would like to have uncrowded spot to view not really impressed by photos posted so far of desserts. Still trying to decide whether to go or cancel. A few more posts from those who have attended would be really helpful!

We went to tonight's party and for us it just wasn't worth it. They moved the party because of the rain and so you really aren't that close to the lights. The drinks are good and the deserts are good but not worth the amount we paid in my opinion.

Cheaper to but a drink and cupcake at the oaken's trading post and walk through the lights and fast pass the sing-a-long.

The premium seating is the first 2 rows or so behind the handicap seating so you are up front and without fast pass you would probably be seated much further back.

We went to Hollywood Studios because of this party and the best time we had was Toy Story Mania. Really just not impressed. Maybe it was the rain but all in all I wish we just went to Magic Kingdom instead. Hoping MVMCP is better.

As long as you aren't going the week of New Year's Day or Martin Luther King day, a FP+ probably isn't needed. For those holiday weeks, I'd suggest one.

As long as there is no premium package, the FP+ start filling in center row 3 and then back. When there is a premium package the seating begins back further.

I've been wondering that too. Would love to see more reports coming in.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

Where was the dessert party moved to?

I hope you have a great time at MVMCP!

Thanks!! It was moved to Studio Catering Co at the end of Streets of America. Saw a very small portion of the lights. This was only because of the rain today.

The second seating is only offered December 25th, through the New Year, which is peak crowd time. I assume that they didn't add a second seating for other dates is because it's not selling out for any times other than those peak times. Thinking back to the Villains Soiree at MK...those sold out almost immediately and second seatings were added for all dates. I just checked, and until you get to the week of Christmas, there seems to be availability pretty much every night in December. Christmas isn't even completely sold out for both seatings.

One more thing to add about the seating since you are a SWW fan. You know how the FP+ and stand-by entered at the same time? This doesn't happen anymore...well, at least at first. The FP+ are scanned PRIOR to entry for the first part of the queue. The FP+ door opens and those people walk right in. A few minutes LATER the standby line begins entry. So unlike SWW, only the middle to latter part of the FP+ line enters at the same time as standby.

That's an interesting place to end up, though it isn't too far from the original dessert spot.

Did you walk through the lights afterwards?

It didn't seem like too many people were biting for reservations. Yet when we went Sunday night to see the lights, the dessert area look pretty filled up. Maybe there were many same day resies?

The catch with the villains soiree, was you paid a high price but at least got character interactions. This package just doesn't have that to draw people. I'd bet if they would have added a M&G it would have been a huge draw!

I know the surprise M&G we had with the sing-along cast was absolutely amazing. And would have been worth the $89 adding them to the dessert party.

Had there been an A&E M&G, I think the packages would have sold out every day within 24 hours. I know I would have signed on for one, even at $89/head.

I really hope for the benefit of all Disney guests that this package doesn't end up performing well, so that Disney realizes to charge a premium, they have to have some actual premium offerings in the package. I really think the popularity of the Frozen Summer Fun premium packages made them greedy, and made them think they could get away with significantly reducing the offerings associated with premium packages while increasing the cost at the same time as long as they labeled the package as "Frozen."

No doubt! I guess we will find out soon what the end result of substance vs name brings. SWW is around the corner. Last year's offerings tested the waters. Hopefully, we'll soon see the price and if there are any new offerings to bring to the table for May the 4th and SWW. I'm excited to see! We did everything last year except the H&V dinner. Along with the rumored construction, this may be another testing ground?

We would have done this in a heartbeat if there was an A&E and/or Kristoff M&G.

We are going on Dec 24th and are looking forward to it. Maybe it's not "worth" the money or great value. But I don't do things in Disney based on their value. I do things based on if it's something I want to do. Many things aren't "worth" their cost.

So true! Thank you for your response!

I am sure this has probably been answered but I can't seem to find it... We have the Frozen Premium Package booked for Christmas Week... I understand you go in and get a fastpass for the Sing-along when you enter... Can someone clarify this for me? If we enter in the morning can we see a show during the day or are we going to the show during our time period? (8:00 package) Thanks so much!

The info should be in my first post if I remembered to update it. You'll enter the park. In your left you'll see signs by GS to check in. Check in and you'll get a return time ticket. Your choice of time based on tickets remaining. You'll look for the package line along the wall of the Premiere theater when it's your return window. Upon entry you'll be directed to reserved package seating.

So the Sing Along now takes stand by or still only those with FP? Do we have to get our tickets for the show first thing in the morning?

There are 3 lines for the singalong, premium package (is tickets), fast pass, and standby.

This is good to know....are there any further updates on this package from people who have recently gone? We are going on 12/21 and very excited. I know that it will surely not be worth the cost we paid but I am still very much looking forward to it just the same. I have appreciated this thread very much lots of great opinions and advice.

I'm still waiting for more feedback too. I only wish you could enter area prior to lights coming on, MDE states enter @ 6pm, reports say actually 7pm. We purchased the package on 12/21 too. Definitely not worth cost compared to Summer Fun Package & Villain Soiree in terms of what's offered & price. :confused3

Value now based on private area with seats (Christmas crowd levels),desserts, extra magic for daughter. I mentioned canceling to DH, surely thinking he would agree. He said, "it's Christmas at Disney & a Special Event, keep it, it's paid for." Wish he said this all the time. :)

Does anyone have any information about how many package tickets are available for each of the sing along showings? My group won't be arriving until 3:30ish so the only show that seems to work is the 4:55 show (we'll probably line up before the 6pm show gets out and the 7pm show is when the party starts). Based on the number of tickets available and previous experiences, does anyone think we'll be able to get tickets for that show if we don't arrive till mid afternoon? I'm okay if we don't see the show but one person hasn't seen it yet and would like to. I'm preparing them to wait in the standby line just in case.

I feel the exact same way. I won't be going back with my son for a few years after our upcoming trip. It's just the two of us and we both absolutely love Frozen. I've been saving money for this trip since I was in my first trimester of pregnancy... the experience will be priceless just to do something special with my son and eat a bunch of desserts. I'm a sweet tooth. :goodvibes

I will be going on 12/1 and I'll be sure to post all of the details of my experience, including photos hopefully.
