We are doing the party on the 21st. My kids picked costumes that didn't lend themselves to a group costume and DH and I totally lack creativity. But I think we came up with a great, simple idea. Dh and I are going to be Colette and Alfredo from Ratatouille! Ordered chef's coats for under $10 each, got him a hat for under $5 and I got myself a wig, also under $5! Oh and of course we couldn't forget our little rat buddy which we will try to "sew" into DH's hair! Sp for anyone else struggling for an idea, this was easy, cheap, and really cute!!!

Try a piece of skinny round elastic to go around underneath his hair, like a stretchy headband, Rat on top. That's how I kept DD's Pascal on her shoulder when she was Rapunzel. Sounds like you're not lacking creativity to me

EDIT: I looked it up and see that his name is actually Alfredo Linguini. I would have never made it trhough the movie without breadsticks if I knew that.

We did a total of 4 parties in the last 2 weeks and we had a BLAST, and got a ton of attention from CM's at all four parties!

Our "random" day with Flynn, ToT Bellhop, Esmerelda & Minnie!

My friend and I ran in to you guys a couple of times! We were the Sanderson sisters (minus Winnie) with the animatronic book!

Dh and I first time doing party this year. Going without kiddos (we try to do F&WF without kids every year). Bought Halloween t-shirts to wear cuz I couldn't figure any costumes out and kids are very disappointed we aren't doing actual costumes. One kid suggested the old couple from Up (yeah, we aren't offended with that lol). Any other EASY ideas would be appreciated (DH and I are definitely "Pooh" sized!!)

I had paint for the face and chest, but the arms look slightly different because they are actually green tights. The colors looks a bit off in pictures, but in real life they matched up pretty closely.

I saw someone with a similar idea who cut out a shadow of the rat and put it on the inside of the hat backlit with a battery operated tea lite. It was really cute and might be easier than sewing his hair.

Love it! My top was pretty much the exact color, but I picked the wrong shade of makeup. Once it got dark, it looked ok. I really wanted to carry Rocket around too!! But it was just too hot with all this hair and that costume to carry around a big hairy raccoon LOL. You guys looked great. Hope you had fun

Oh WOW!! You guys look awesome!!! Did you make those costumes?? Fabulous! My DD loved getting asked for pics with folks too . Really was the highlight of the party for her. Thanks for sharing (from a fellow Tennessean *wave*)!

I saw you at the party on 10/2. I was going to approach you to tell you I know you from Disboards, but our party continued on in the opposite direction. You must have been roasting in your costumes....it was so hot!

Great costume! Make sure to try to meet Anna during the party-- my wife went as Anna to the 10/9 party and the "real" Anna loved it!

We also went to the 10/5 party as Alice and Hatter and had a ball!
