Where did the ring go?

The ring is missing outside Haunted Mansion. What happened? It was by the trash can in the interactive area. Thanks.

I read on one of the boards here it was causing too much comotion with everyone looking for it after they exited that the line was backing up so they removed it and I believed it is now in a wall stone opposite the cemetery...not sure on the location exactly, but that is why you don't see it.

It was not intended to be a "ring" in the first place.
It was just the remainder of a metal post that was cut off at concrete-level.

It was never intended to be an "artifact" at the Mansion.
It was not "moved" anywhere.
The area was finally remodeled and that section of concrete has long been obliterated and paved-over.

Thank you but I knew that they moved it. When they put it in the new location after the refurb a couple of years ago I asked an imagine er about it on a tour. It isn't in that location anymore or at least the last few times I have been there.

One day in late May 2012(might have been Memorial Day), my family took some great photos at the HM exit with two blank headstones that you could put your head on to pose for pictures. We didn't see it the rest of our trip. Anyone seen it lately?

My recollection is that was there for only a short time--a matter of weeks.

I photographed it in Sept. 2012. It was during a MNSSHP so I didn't want to hold up the line looking for it. The HM CM who was with us told me where to point my camera and I snapped a pic and "found" the ring later.

I looked for it in February but didn't see it. But, I also didn't find it the first time... just pointed my camera to the correct area.

It is indeed not there. CMs in the area tell me "the ghosts took it for polishing".

Still no Mr. Toad in the pet cemetery either.

And am I remembering incorrectly, or did there seem to be less headstones in the pet cemetery than there normally is? It just looked more empty than I remember.

It was there when we looked about a week ago. It was back in a corner of the cemetary near the sea captain's tomb. We did need to "manipulate" a trash can a bit to find it.
