Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I used the 11 digit number to link my hotel reservations and the 10 digit one to link the ticket reservations. I had to do each separately. And I did it in the past week or so...I waited a few days before choosing FPs and customizing bands, so I'm not sure if those options were available when I first linked the park tickets or if they showed up a few days later.

Did you put the TR in front of the 10 digit ticket one (like it shows on the ticket), or did you just put in the numerical part? How soon after you booked with travelocity did you link it? Does your room ressie say "room only" anywhere on your email or MDE? Mine says something like POR RR only standard view. I can't figure out why mine won't work and yours did, esp since I've even called Disney SO many times and they told me I won't be able to link them.
I would love to get it linked so I can take advantage of fastpass +.

We are staying at POR Oct 17-27. I just bought my disney park tickets and linked them up to MDE. Can anyone please tell me where I go on the site to select my FP+? Does it take awhile for anything to pop up? We are less than 60 days out so I expected to be able to do this right away.

So what happens to those of us staying in a Disney resort that isn't part of the testing? Will there be fast passes? I'm trying not to be bitter, but it kind of stinks for those of us that don't have a shot. I can hear my husband and kids asking why we don't have those bands. Lol. I know. I know. Life isn't fair, etc... But we are spending a ton on this vacation, yet feel like I'm missing out.

I understand. Life isn't fair, but when you're all paying for the same thing (such as a Disney vaca), life should be fair. No fd or ro discount for us, so went to travelocity. Now, we can't get the fastpass + bc our tix won't link to MDE. I was very happy the other nt, though, to be able to order magicbands. I understand your frustration.

Just an idea.... We booked our tix thru Small World Vacations, so not directly thru Disney. The only confirmation number I've had was a resort reservation number that has letters and isn't very long. But, if you've already personalized MagicBands, try this....
Log into your Disney account on the MDE full site....not the app. Then, on the right side choose the ""Fastpass+" option and see if you can do it from the full site. If that doesn't work, try this: Choose the "Personalize MagicBand" option that's among all the other choiceson the right side. Once you do that, see if you see your resort name and a reservation number. I do...and it's a long number without letters. Maybe if you use that number, it would work for your Fastpass +.??

Disney agrees with you. They already say that when you are a tester that it is either/or and not both. They don't encourage the use of both systems. The testers are lead to believe that both FP systems cannot be utilized together.

The old FP and new FP systems aren't linked, so testers can use both IF they figure that out. This is a testing phase. Testing the 'new' technology - making FP+'s in advanced, making them online and on various devices that have the MDE app, making changes to times, making various plans for different members of your party ... Those things are what's being focused on in the testing. They don't need to spend MORE time testing a way to prevent the use of old and new FP together. What would be the point...

Quick question : we're living in Canada, will our MB be shipped to us and we'll get those when we check in?

Also, are MB planned to be reused from trips to trips. That would be eco-friendly for sure!

I live in the Niagara region close to USA so I am going to have them shipped to the mailbox I rent in Niagara Falls, NY. I don't think they would ship to me in Canada and I don't like the idea of "they should be waiting for you at the resort" and I can use it for DME.

CMs are point-blank telling testers that they cannot pull regular FPs if they're testing FP+. So the pool of people who know to ignore that answer is probably pretty small in comparison to the number of guests included in the upcoming tests.

FP+ reservations end at 7p.m. on party days at MK. FP machines were usually covered up for the parties in the past, so this jibes with how it's worked before.

FPs are not used during party hours, even under the old system.

Thanks! Being able to pull as many FP as the system will allow everyday and at multiple parks makes it a little easier to accept that we won't have a chance to try out MB/FP+. Would be even better if CMs deny access with paper FP to anyone wearing a MB, but that probably isn't realistic.

I just decided to go back to MDE just to see if maybe the Fastpass + option was unlocked for our 10/13 - 10/19 stay at POR at it is! I just booked our first set for the MK on 10/13!

they can't win either way. they need a way to continue to test and fix the system. they can't choose everyone or it isn't a test. no matter what, someone is going to be unhappy.

if we hadn't been staying at a test resort, i wouldn't have been upset. in fact, i don't know that we'll be able to do it for our January trip because three of us will have APs and three will buy military tickets. we will be staying at a test resort then, but, unless they change something, we won't be able to test (if they are still testing). that's just the way it goes!

now, when it is rolled out for real, they really do need to find a way to make it available to everyone. i'm hoping that is all worked out so that if it IS in place for our January trip, we are able to book in advance.

Thanks for trying to help. Didn't work, though. I tried fastpass plus link, but getting we're sorry messsge....no one in party in those dates. I found that other number you mentioned, but it didn't work, either.
