Holy moly, that was one bad afternoon. I'm so glad John finally talked to his boss and was able to work things out so he has his job still and things will, hopefully, change for the better. I can absolutely understand the tears you had falling. I hope this afternoon and evening are much better for you!!
Good luck to Hunter on his driving test, and I hope the lines aren't too long for you.
Thanks Steph! Yesterday afternoon was full of emotions.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the DMV line is short and that we don't have to wait too long.
One plus is the DMV is right beside a wonderful dive called Coney Island and we can pick up something delicious and high in heart clogging goodness.
Oh, Lisa, I would have been crying too. That is just wrong as we can all tell from your posts what a faithful and good worker John is. I'm glad he finally called his boss and told him exactly what was happening and that he is back on the job.
Good luck to Hunter.
Thank you Kathy! John works his butt off and, as I said, has every since he was just 15 years old. Because of how he was raised, he won't "take any guff from anybody" and that's why he left. I'm very happy that he finally spoke his mind.
I'll try to let everybody know how Hunter does this afternoon.
