Our little thread of BIG Resort Changes~2013 Spring RC installment

John Michael came into my room and wanted to talk about our Disney trip. He had me pull up pictures of the AKL (especially of the pool). He even wanted me to bring up the route we are going to take on Google Maps, and explain to him the route we're taking and stuff. When I got to the part about staying at the Swan the night before we check into the AKL. He was like, "that's just stupid....I want to stay another night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge." Too bad the DH doesn't agree.

At dinner tonight I was talking to my nieces about the BWI, since it is my obsession for today. I did talk to them about the creepy clown and since we will just be there 2 nights I think I can live with it. I am going to spend tonight reading about the BWI, WL and AKL. Surely one of them will still have availability in two weeks. Please send positive thoughts my way and here's hoping no one makes any reservations for September in the next 2 weeks

Hi all!

I just got an email from DH on the golf course, apparently they have a PGA event there soon and all the bleachers are set up. Here was his email....it almost sounds like me when I am talking about Disney!

On the 15 hole... Tigers 18 hole is coming up....soooo exciting. Ill email. A pic

Apparently Tiger Woods had a big shot at this hole in the past?? But what do I know about golf??

He says he is sending a pic along too! How cute is that?

The playdate went awesome, I loved seeing all the girls play together, kids are so energetic and full of imagination. At bedtime the youngest crashed hard but the older two worked on their Disney Scrapbooks, it is just so precious...I can't take it!!

We have a reservation for BLT in September, but because we've had to postpone the current vaca so much bringing it from May all the way to July (ugh) I'm not sure we are going to go in September. But I won't cancel unless I have to!
I'm amazed that I haven't changed resorts on that one too!!

Waiting for the kiddo to go to bed before we go out onto the balcony and drink our evening cocktails from the Victoria Falls lounge.

Yep, I changed over to BWV in October on the BB rate... knocked another $100 off the total and even though it isn't the BC/YC, it's the Epcot area during F&W and our favourite park is DHS... so that's a good thing, right? (Go on and reassure me. )

I just booked garden grill for an early dinner for DD8 on our x-mas party night! She has been talking about how she would love to eat there...should we ever go back! LOL!

Since I'm probably canceling my Oct/Nov trip I've been looking at the first couple of weeks in Sept. Granted I've only been checking DVC .... AKV and OKW but it looks like there is plenty of availability! Also I LOVE 2s on the crowd calendar!!!

I did love the crowds in September!! I would have liked it to be a tad cooler for the MNSSHP, but otherwise, it was nice to not have super long lines!

BTW - my TA did call and get everything changed over to the CBR pirate room! and I just ordered a few things from the Disney Store for the trip. Jake and Izzy pjs, a Jake and the Neverland Pirates activity book, and a tote bag. Got a coloring book the other day too. Might check out Five Below and see if I can find any other pirate goodies.

Would like to find some good travel bingo cards too...
