What attraction have you experienced that you did not expect to be great but ended up impressing you? Mine would be the Gran Fiesta Tour. It was a fantastic dark ride!

Cool we will have to check out O Canada and Ellen's energy adventure next time!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover. I've looked at it for years and thought why bother? On our last trip, we had about 30 minutes before we needed to find a spot for wishes and with line-ups the way they were, we had limited options so we decided to give this a go. What a wonderful way to see Tomorrowland and the castle especially at dusk. It was beautiful! So if you find yourself with some extra time near, or after, dark then check it out. You won't regret it!

Indy Tomorrowland Speedway.

Always saw it as a stinky, non-ecofriendly space-killer with a slow-moving line.

But the kids loved it. Now it's a can't-miss.

Winnie the Pooh! I did it for the first time in 2012 "just because," and now it's a must-do. Really cute and charming.

I love PhilharMagic, but I don't recall being surprised that I loved it. The champagne corks going off at the end of Be Our Guest is my favorite effect in any of the 3D Movie attractions.

Country Bear Jamboree (if you are able to hear the words it is a blast)

agree with PhilHarmagic - love the apple pie scent!!

for my kids....carousel of progress - we went in once, and now they love it! :confused3 :)

We went into Country Bears for the heck of it and I really enjoyed it. My 3 yer old LOVED it.

Flights of Wonder and the Animation Academy. We did both of those just because it was towards the end of a two week trip and we hadn't done them before. We really enjoyed FOW but we both loved the Animation Academy and ended up doing that 3 or 4 times in a row.

Spaceship Earth - When we went for the first time after they added the interactive computers in the cars it was such a fun surprise. We rode it 4 times last year just to have different scenarios at the end.

Flights of Wonder - Our local zoo has a great bird show and I was expecting this to be similar to that. It really blew me away. I loved the tricks and the Eagle at the end gave me chillbumps.

Turtle Talk with Crush, Finding Nemo and Festival of the Lion King were three attractions that I scheduled just to give the little ones a break, but I didn't expect a whole lot. All three, especially Festival of the Lion King, were fantastic.

And Philharmagic is one of the top attractions at WDW. I figured I'd enjoy it before we went, but I never would have guessed that much. That was the one attraction that I think convinced my two 6-year-olds that there was some magic going on in the Magic Kingdom.

I agree with the OP about Grand Fiesta. Everything we had read about it said it was a waste of time, but we were in the pavillion and there was no line so we tried it. Our two preschoolers loved it! My four year old said it was like small world bit better because it had Donald in it. Then we waited 15 minutes at Norway for Maelstorm and we all agreed that it wasnt as good as Grand Fiesta, even though it always seems to be ranked higher.

And my 72 year old dad said Living with the Land was his favourite ride of the whole trip. I love that there's something for everyone!
