A Fourth of Pixie Dust! A Fourth of Fun! A Fourth of Attitude! NEW! 4/6 pg. 26

:cool1: Woo Hoo! An Update! :thumbsup2

What? No sparkly Mickey Ears? Surely she will find them in the MK.

I like your decision to just eat at the food courts. Denny and I had the "make your own pasta" there and it was really yummy.

Glad you got to see a concert, then watch fireworks, then tour the BCV. Doesn't it just make you want to stay right there? I was dying during F&W when I couldn't walk right over to the Boardwalk area. At least you were smart and parked in the BC parking lot (my favorite non-park parking lot) :rolleyes1

Cute top that Chelsea has on and I love the henna tattoo.

I'm sorry, I do have to laugh about Chelsea changing her shirt that night! Her henna tattoo looks really pretty!

American Dreams and a Bon Jovi cover band....sounds like the perfect Epcot evening to me!! :thumbsup2

The henna tatoo was really pretty, plus it washes off eventually!;)
What a lovely night that must have been, moments like that are so very special.

Too funny about Chelsea changing into the top you wanted her to wear in the first place. :lmao:

The torture teenagers inflict on thier parents.

Where did you watch the fireworks from? It is too funny that we did not bump into each other.

Had no idea you visited Anita after... I was up a few floors and probably down the hall. :lmao:

That rain was something else huh???

It's nice to see you posting again, Jackie! :goodvibes

It's nice to have a chance to post again!

I love Chelsea's henna tattoo! How much do those cost?

I think that one was about $20.

Mmmm! Those American Dreams look delicious! Especially since they have ice cream mixed in :thumbsup2

Sounds like a fun evening!

Those American Dreams were delicious!

I seriously had to laugh at Chelsea changing to the shirt you wanted her to wear earlier. That is such a teenager thing to do! :rotfl: I do love her henna tattoo. Morghan also had one done during our October trip too. They are so pretty!

Can you believe she did that to me? Chelsea loves her henna tattoos. I think it is one of her favorite things to do at Epcot.

Connor is so cool. I love that he enjoys old rock. :thumbsup2

Connor cracks me up with his views on music.

It sounds like a really fun night for you three! What a great way to end the day!

It was a perfect Fourth as far as I was concerned.

Well, even if she missed the official photo op, it is an adorable top. :rotfl:

Chelsea is too much! I do like that picture of her at the Beach Club.

What a fun fun night! Bummer Charles missed it but it sounds just about perfect all around other than the drive back. Bus would have been just as bad or worse I'm sure.

Charles knows his limits which is a good thing. The buses would have been just as bad, I am sure.

Nothing worse than searching forever for something specific like that, that should be easy, and isn't.

We couldn't believe that they were so hard to find.

That is a LOT of princess dolls! Do they have their own room in the villa? :thumbsup2

Practically! LOL!

Fun night!
Isn't Beach Club awesome?!?!? :cool2:

Beach Club is awesome! I was wowed at the amount of space Anita and Marc had there!

I see a mismatched little girl in the corner - navy blue dress and purple Crocs.

Brooklyn was so cute! I don't have any pictures of our meet -- I think I was dragging at that point! Did you get some?

:cool1: Woo Hoo! An Update! :thumbsup2

I was excited to be able to write one!

What? No sparkly Mickey Ears? Surely she will find them in the MK.

You may be right about that!

I like your decision to just eat at the food courts. Denny and I had the "make your own pasta" there and it was really yummy.

It was a quick way to eat -- not in my original plans, but it got us fed before we left.

It did make me want to stay right there! It would be so nice to be able to leave Epcot and be right back at our resort. I really like Boardwalk -- that's on my wish list of places to stay.

Cute top that Chelsea has on and I love the henna tattoo.

Can you see why I wanted her to wear it for family pictures? Oh well.

I'm sorry, I do have to laugh about Chelsea changing her shirt that night! Her henna tattoo looks really pretty!

Chelsea loves to yank my chain, I think.

American Dreams and a Bon Jovi cover band....sounds like the perfect Epcot evening to me!! :thumbsup2

It was! It was! :goodvibes

The henna tatoo was really pretty, plus it washes off eventually!;)
What a lovely night that must have been, moments like that are so very special.

I do especially like the fact that the henna is temporary.

It will always be one of my favorite Fourth of July memories.

Too funny about Chelsea changing into the top you wanted her to wear in the first place. :lmao:

The torture teenagers inflict on thier parents.

She is an expert on inflicting torture.

Where did you watch the fireworks from? It is too funny that we did not bump into each other.

We were in Japan. Happydog had grabbed a spot earlier, and we just squeezed in next to them.

Had no idea you visited Anita after... I was up a few floors and probably down the hall. :lmao:

We'll have to meet up sometime!

That rain was something else huh???

It was, but I think it may have been the last of the rain for us on that trip.

Chelsea's Henna tattoo really came out very well...:thumbsup2 I think that will have to go on our list for this summer...

(BTW She is really lovely... Jackie... she is definitely growing up...:goodvibes)

She sounds a bit like Ems when she is on a mission to track down something she wants... When it comes to shopping she has boundless energy to track something down... I hoping that Chelsea gets her ears in MK...

Connor as usual is simultaneously the voice of reason and quite funny at the same time...:goodvibes

So glad your posting Jackie...

I just knew Chelsea would put THAT shirt on!! OY! Her henna tattoo is pretty - the girls got some at AK in October, but had to swim and they didn't last as long as they would have if I'd "treated" them properly.

I love Connor's comment about Bon Jovi music. I couldn't agree more! Seeing that band would have been on my list too!

How fun to meet up at BCV! Anita and Marc know how to live it up right and share the fun, don't they? I like those lights on the balcony!

My entire family teased me after I shrieked "MARY!!!!" When I spotted that window display... But it's so cool! I almost did it again when I saw your picture!

I'm glad Chelsea finally put on the outfit. It really is super cute! And I love all of her princess dolls!

Oh, and isn't the henna lady the best?! I get a different one every year and she always does an amazing job!

Looks like another fun dis-meet!:thumbsup2

Ahhh Chelsea gotta love teenage girls. Glad you had a nice night despite the traffic. Those drinks look yummy, definitely need to put those on the list to try. Connor is so right about the music. Can't wait to see what time you get to MK the next day.

Too bad about the lack of sparkly Minnie ears. On my honeymoon I couldn't find the groom Mickey ears anywhere, on every trip since, they've been everywhere. :confused3 hope she finds them before the end of the trip!
I had to giggle at Chelsea changing into that shirt. Definitely something I would have done 10 years ago.

Chelsea's Henna tattoo really came out very well...:thumbsup2 I think that will have to go on our list for this summer...

You and Em would love doing it! It's a must! Even Connor got one on a trip.

(BTW She is really lovely... Jackie... she is definitely growing up...:goodvibes)

Awww, thank you! :goodvibes

She sounds a bit like Ems when she is on a mission to track down something she wants... When it comes to shopping she has boundless energy to track something down... I hoping that Chelsea gets her ears in MK...

Chelsea, too! BOUNDLESS energy!

Connor as usual is simultaneously the voice of reason and quite funny at the same time...:goodvibes

You should have seen as "geeking" out at The Hobbit yesterday. LOL!

So glad your posting Jackie...

Thanks! It's so nice to have the time to do so.

I knew you would be able to come through for me, MeMom! Thanks!

THAT's Chelsea's infamous look!!! Can't tell you how many times I have seen that one! And there's my Connor-man -- wearing a glow necklace on his head. LOL!

You can see all the dolls in this picture.

EndofSummer2012WDW480.jpg

There were a lot, weren't there? ;)

Checking out the art work.

I was enjoying that more than it appears in the picture. :rotfl:

I just knew Chelsea would put THAT shirt on!! OY! Her henna tattoo is pretty - the girls got some at AK in October, but had to swim and they didn't last as long as they would have if I'd "treated" them properly.

Chelsea was a bit of a pain about getting in the water after that!

I love Connor's comment about Bon Jovi music. I couldn't agree more! Seeing that band would have been on my list too!

It was a great way to spend the evening before fireworks!

How fun to meet up at BCV! Anita and Marc know how to live it up right and share the fun, don't they? I like those lights on the balcony!

Yes, they do!

My entire family teased me after I shrieked "MARY!!!!" When I spotted that window display... But it's so cool! I almost did it again when I saw your picture!

I adore that window!!!

I'm glad Chelsea finally put on the outfit. It really is super cute! And I love all of her princess dolls!

Oh, those aren't hers -- they were ones Anita had bought for her granddaughter.

Oh, and isn't the henna lady the best?! I get a different one every year and she always does an amazing job!

Looks like another fun dis-meet!:thumbsup2

She does an amazing job for sure!

Ahhh Chelsea gotta love teenage girls. Glad you had a nice night despite the traffic. Those drinks look yummy, definitely need to put those on the list to try. Connor is so right about the music. Can't wait to see what time you get to MK the next day.

She does! :goodvibes Finally!

I had to giggle at Chelsea changing into that shirt. Definitely something I would have done 10 years ago.

Me too -- only it would have been something I did 23 years ago. LOL!

Oh my goodness, Jackie, just catching up....
Chelsea's henna was really pretty. I don't think i would have wanted to get it wet either. So I completely understand her attitude towards swimming.
She really is a charming girl, it's just that she saves the attitude for you. We really enjoyed seeing you late at the BC. The kids seemed to be holding up really well. :goodvibes

Getting caught up today! How was the crowds on the 4th at Epcot? Was it manageable? We have been to WDW 2 years at the 4th and never been on Epcot that day. I think it would be fun to see all the characters in their patriotic attire. I know it won't be this year but thought about the 4th in 2014 again.

Too funny about Chelsea and her attire! I am sure it wasn't for you.

Love that Connor like Bon Jovi music!!!!

I have always been too chicken to even try the tame side of Mission Space. What is it like? I am slight claustrophic and don't like tight places. It always looked like a ride with not much room.

Loved reading the update! Those partly Minnie era are hard to find! I don't remember seeing any either. I bought v some in 2011 and she hates them of course!
Can't wait to see where you end up next I can't remember if our paths crossed at all as we arrived on the 5th.

Hey Jackie. I am getting caught up on all the TR's & I need to start updating mine again! I took quite a long break & now I need to get back to it.

That Connor is so funny..Oh no it's just my skin burning...:lmao:

I love the Henna that Chelsea got. Very pretty!!

So glad you got to meet up with Anita, MeMom & gang.:thumbsup2

Ok now I plan to stay caught up!!

Getting caught up again! What a fun way to end the day! The drinks look so yummy & the concert sounded great. That's definitely one I would have been interested in seeing or at least walking by to listen for a little bit.

Fun visit with the DIS Town crew too! :thumbsup2
