Pictures of all 3 Disneyland Hotel Concierge Lounges

Question... I have heard that when you get to the hotel you can upgrade your stay to concierge for a set fee. However, is it possible to do this *partway* through your stay? So, if you're staying for 5 nights, could you ask on night 3 to upgrade to concierge for the remainder of your stay?

if it is avail you can upgrade however you may not be able to change rooms to the Concierge floor level. The rooms are only a TAD bigger not enough to really be concerned with but are on the same floor as the lounge. We have done this on the same floor and without at all 3 hotels and not much difference but yes just call down to the front desk and see if it's avail. I suggest calling as early inthe am as possible so you can do breakfast and then breakfast againt the next day as the access expires at either 11 or 12 something like that. Have fun!:banana:

We are staying at PPH in a theme park view concierge room for a week in August and are so stoked!!! Def taking avantage of the concierge food throughout the day to save money on food costs.

Anyone stay in one of the three concierges more recently, anything good to report? Possibly contemplating a DLH or GCH concierge stay this November...

I stayed at PPH at the end of May through the beginning of June and we had a pretty good experience. Jerry was working in the lounge while we were there at he was very friendly and helpful. Someone else posted in another thread not too long ago because she, too, was contemplating a concierge stay. I posted a more in depth reply there as well. Concierge is a nice little extra thing for your stay but if you are looking for "getting your money's worth", I wouldn't recommend it unless you eat quite a lot of snacks and drinks or have a family with you. For DH and I, we enjoy the lounge but we certainly do not eat or drink the extra $100(per night) worth. They also offer free DVD rentals and your concierge is very helpful and accommodating if you need to book any last minute dinner reservations. It's about the total package for us, though. We do not simply see the hotel as a place to sleep so when we can't get our dvc because of availability, we enjoy the concierge service. Personally, we have found the CMs at PPH to be the friendliest so we prefer to stay there when we are not at the VGC. Others will say the Grand has the friendliest CMs so it's really a matter of personal opinion.

Anyways, I've gotten off topic. We are staying concierge at PPH again this weekend. So, I'll post when I get back and share what different offerings they may have and what else might be new there.

If you have time I would love to see some more pictures of the current offerings and lounge. If you are staying w/ a theme park view I would love to see pics of it as well. We are considering doing the theme park view with concierge next summer. Actually I am pretty well sold on doing this but I would still love to see some pics. TIA

Have a great trip.

Here are some pictures I took a month ago during my most recent trip. We stayed on the 15th floor Theme Park view. We took some snacks back to the room from the lounge.

Thank you curiouslittleoyster, those were great. I can't wait until next summer.

My experience with trying to add Concierge part way through the trip was that they wanted to add the charge for the entire trip. You could circumvent that by making two reservations, the first without concierge, and the second with it, and then upon arrival, see it they will join the reservations so you wouldn't have to change rooms. That might work.

In regards to access to the lounge, it does not expire at 11 or 12. Your room key may stop working to access the lounge, but if you knock on the door, the attendant will open it for you and greet you like a long lost friend, and gladly serve you until closing of your check out day.

And while I have only stayed PPH in concierge, my cousins stayed at DLH and were upgraded to a suite and had wonderful service from the attendants. They could not have been happier. They utilized them for reservations, attended the wine tasting etc...

I just booked them for it again at end of June and this time I will also be there guest. Really looking forward to it:)

I am going to see if I have pictures from our Concierge stay at PPH. We also were upgraded to a suite with park view and it was wonderful!

It was wonderful to have all that extra space since there was 5 of us. It was a one bedroom, two baths, with living area. We watched WOC from the backside one night.

These pics really make me want to consider concierge!:woohoo:
We will be there in Sept, and i really want to do concierge.
We have three boys, so it might be worth it!
Decisions, decisions...

I see that the AP rates are on the Disneyland annual pass section for October, in the hotel calendar. The concierge rate is at $315 for pph. Do you think this will be the set rate, or does it usually go down when it gets a little closer to fall?

Thanks to the OP for the pics (and to others who posted pics as well). We were supposed to stay concierge July 12-14 at DLH, but the chicken pox fairy visited our house (sometimes the vaccine doesn't work perfectly, ugh)!
Rescheduled for the end of July, so hopefully all will go well! Nice to see the lounge pics, though...hopefully things will get better around here!

We will be there July 24th,25th, and 26th at DLH in a concierge room. Really looking forward to seeing the new rooms! Hoping for an upgrade too:)

Maybe we will run into you?
Tracey

We have stayed at PPH concierge twice. First time was magical , second not so much. The food offerings get old after a short while. Sorry but it doesn't seem like very healthy fair to me. Also Jerry our favorite concierge host was not in attendance the second time. Really different hosts, hostess'. Not that much personality, if you know what I mean. I am going to DLH for a convention this Tuesday. I thought about upgrading to concierge, but not sure of the cost. (Convention standard rate is unbelievable!!! Lowww!) Also it will be just myself and the girls. We have never received an upgrade at check in at Disney though many times at other places... Any secrets to share...We are always ecstatic to be there, girls are cute, dressed nice, casually mention any special occassions etc.

If I remember right, Jerry got a promotion. I think he might be a trainer now and may float between the three hotels.

I was just wondering if anyone had any recent experiences at the Disneyland Hotel concierge level? We are thinking about upgrading to concierge level for our trip coming up this weekend  Does anyone know what the current price is per night? Thanks! :goodvibes

Wish I would have found this thread prior to booking today -- it would have made for a much quicker decision while on the phone (instead of having to call my boyfriend to see if he'd like this option lol). Thankfully we booked the concierge rooms and after looking at the pics and reading some other reviews we are more than excited (more excited than the kids I think!! lol). :yay:

We got the PPH concierge for 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday) in November for $563 including taxes. So it was about $85 more a night compared to the price we got for the standard room using the pin code trick (thanks to whoever started the thread on that one! great way to save some money!!!). I think the extra money will be worth it. We've never stayed at a Disney property before and this will be our last 2 days of our trip (going to Vegas for 5 nights and then Disneyland/area for 5 nights plus these 2 nights. I think it will be a great end to our trip! :woohoo:

Anyways thanks for all the fantastic pics! Now we know exactly what to expect and are sooooooooooo excited!! :yay::woohoo::yay:
