PICTURES of Disney Recipes you have made at home

I came across the Disney Food Index and all these great recipes and finally decided to try one over the weekend. One of our favorites is San Angel Inn, Pollo a las Rajas. I served it with Rice and Beans and I did make the addition of an orange pepper. My family hands down said this was the best meal they have ever had :thumbsup2 Or I should say the closest to Disney they could get :smickey:

Let me know what you think! Thank you to all who have updated and indexed all these great recipes....

That looks awesome!

I have to get over my fear of re-creating or cooking Mexican food. I don't know why but it seems so intimidating to me.

My DH made this last night

it's Strawberry Shortcake with Lemon Cornbread from the Delicious Disney Dessert Cookbook - it's actually the item featured on the cover of the book

soooo sooo yummmy!!!!! looking forward to having more of it tonight!

That dessert looks so yummy. My husband is working late again tonight, and I think I'm going to run over to B&N to see if they have that Disney cookbook. I have time to get the ingredients and have this dessert ready for him when he comes home. I just love to cook and I already got tons of ideas from this thread. Thanks!

I actually think the Delicious Disney cookbooks are theme park exclusives, but there are a ton of recipes available online.

I think you're right. I did go to B&N and they didn't have the book. :( But I'll find the recipe somewhere. I'm loving all these food pictures. I just love to cook.:lovestruc

I love to cook too, let me know if there's any recipe you'd like inparticular, and I'll see if I can find my copy and PM you the recipe. :goodvibes

Here are a picture of muffins made with Disneyland's Pumpkin Muffin recipie. I didn't take a picture of the ones I made but these are the ones my mom made.

I've made the lobster soup from Coral Reef about 20 times. (Sorry no pixs until next time). The first time I made it I had to make it from taste memory. After a couple of years they actually published the recipe in one of the later editions of one of the cook books. Turned out that I had pretty much nailed the recipe. Of course my version has infinitely more lobster.

This is exactly the thread I was looking for! Dizneydogs- I love your pics and your garden too- how cute!

Back in April I made the Sausage Biscuit Skillet meal from Boma (on the recipe exchange thread under Breakfast). It was just as yummy as when we had it in WDW, but we forgot how rich it was! Wowee, it is so rich it took us a long time to finish it and it ended up going bad, so we will only make it is we have visitors...more mouths to help us enjoy it. But it was goooood. We had a hard time getting the biscuits to cook on the bottom, I think next time we might just make the biscuits and place them on top after so we don't have soggy biscuits (we were scraping the bottoms of our biscuits off with our forks).

Here it is-

Loved this at the park! Must try it.

Hi All! :hippie:

I love to cook and actually started cooking Disney recipes online when I got back from my last trip!

Unfortunately, I ran into some family issues, and now I'm on a SUPER STRICT diet, so I haven't done it in a couple of months. But I will be doing these again starting in September, a couple of recipes a month. So please feel free to come over and check me out at:

So far I've done Tonga Toast and Mushroom Risotto. I actually had another DISer on the Disney Dining Boards make the Risotto and used my link in his thread, I felt like a star!!!!!

Hope you enjoy!
