Way more than one booking at this point..

Add to that.. the DVISA site is ALWAYS slow.. it was after 9am last year if I recall correctly.

The DVISA offer is CLEARLY out today.

We already have ressies at POP, but when free dining for the GP is announced will it be an issue to upgrade to a moderate so we can get Regular Free Dining instead of QS?

Various sites are reporting the following:

Disney Visa Cardholders can now get the Magic Your Way Package with FD

For stays: 08/15/10-10/02/10.

Guests who book a Value Resort will get the Quick Service dining plan. Upgrades are available at a nominal additional cost.

Package includes accommodations and a minimum 2-day base ticket.

Must be booked by 08/14/10 and deposit must be paid at time of booking with a Disney Visa.

The same offer is expected to be made available to the general public (and our Canadian friends) soon.

Well, you shouldn't have a problem, UNLESS, there is already no availability for your dates even w/o FD. You can check that now on the WDW booking site. OR if there is no FD availability because others have booked the promo before you and they're sold-out of "FD" rooms.

If I were you, I would re-book to your mod. now, and when the GP/FD is released, call and re-book to the FD package. Also, it's being reported that you can keep your Value booking and simply pay a small fee to upgrade to the Reg. DP.

I think you will be fine...maybe they release so many to DVisa and then release so many to the GP...that makes since to me anyways...I think if you call the first few days you will be fine. People are reporting the had no wait...where as this morning their was a over 30min wait(I waited over 40I even jumped in the shower with the phone on speaker).
You'll be fine...worst case is yu have to go to another resort in the cat...you may even like that resort better and you are still at Disney and you still have FD...at least we know FD is coming and you don't have to stress about that

I've already reserved our rooms at POFQ since I had to do that to start my Disney honeymoon registry. Free Dining is open to Disney Visa holders today, right now. Disney Visa holders normally get the offer 3 days before the general public. And that offer starts today. You can call right now and have them put the FD discount code on your existing reservations.

HAllelujah!! After waiting & waiting, reading posts & reading post, worrying & worrying, FREE DINING is here!
I was so nervous to check the boards this morning, scared that free dining starting today was just a rumor.
Thank you so much Disboard members for keeping us all informed.

I just called & changed our existing ressie over to Free Dining.
I only had to wait on the phone for 1 minute. Changing over was not a problem. Kept my same resort (CBR) and same reservation number.
I previously had booked under pin code for percentage off room (30%).
We've saved $343 by changing to Free Dining offer.

Good luck to everyone waiting on Monday!

Now, I don't have to be obsessed to read these post every single minute, and I can get my house clean. It has been a mess for a month!!!

Na, that's about right. I'm not even using FD, (used the -40%) yet, here I am. I've really got to get back to cleaning the house and aren't you supposed to be at work CanadianGuy?

Thank you for the sanity and small dose of reality that many of us need this morning! SUPER happy for all of the DV holders who got FD today!!

Hilarious about you taking a shower while being on hold! I have a meeting Monday morning at 9am, and I was joking yesterday about how I hope they don't mind that I'll be on hold with Disney through the entire meeting waiting to talk to a CM about FD!

Can't wait to share exciting news on Monday!!!
