Let's see... my do it yourself projects (I am truly blessed to have very talented graphic designer friends though.. so they did the designs, I just put everything together).

Invitations...

Shirts for the entire wedding party (can't really see them too well.. but nothing exciting, just says "bridesmaid" and their name underneath.

Seating Cards (they were theatre tickets)

I love the TIcket seating cards and The Playbill programs. I wish I thought of the ticket thing for my wedding!

We have just started sending out our 'save the dates' so I can show you the first DIY project. We decided to use the fairytale castle as our subtle Disney theme for the UK reception (didn't want to rub it in too much that they weren't invited to Florida )

I have to say a big thanks to my mum who made all the save the dates herself, I will try to do better with the invites!

I am new to posting pictures if you have figured that out... so here is my second attempt

I still have a lot in progress, but here they are:

I made wands for the girls (I made 10)

I made flags for the boys... (thanks to some wonderful suggestions from people on these boards)

my unity candle (which I need some ideas for a holder for by the way )

My favors are sorta done... I just have to put the flower pot in a bag, with the seeds and my sign, and tie it off with a bow. They are mammogram reminders (I lost my mom to breast cancer about 5 years ago and I myself have had a scare, so i broke away from the Disney theme slightly here) :

These are tags I am going to tie on the bag with the favors in them

I could not decied which one i liked better so we are doing half & half for the back of the tag:

on the back of the invite we stamped a car with just married on the back:

I also made my bubbles dressier... I took a label and put our names in the groom and bride ears, with the wedding date down the middle... I cut out mickey ears with our monogram on one side and Mickey & Minnie on the other and tied it on with a bow:

That is about all i have done and we are getting married in two weeks...

So i have a lot more to do... I will try to post them as I get done

Here's my finished topiary. I made them so they can come apart and get packed up.

Some of the pink carnations in the base are ones that I made out of paper too.

I have been working on a lot of do it yourself projects.

Here is the box I decoupaged. I used old ride signs from the park I printed out on my computer. I am going to put customized talking Mickey Mouses in the boxes.

I also decoupaged hat boxes. These will be used for my tea party to put in my homemade tea cups in.

I also made the invitations for the tea party and the center pieces.

I also made a video that was made into a flip book for our thank you cards.

Also made Disney flip flops

Also my MOH is making the flowers for the brides maids.

I still have a lot more DIY projects to do. I am getting so many great ideas from all of you!!

Go right ahead and steal the idea. I got the flowers from Micheals craft store they actually had a bunch of flowers in the summer that where already in bunches and I just bought a few different ones and mixed and matched them. My MOH is going to wrap them and add the Mickey crystals.

Off-topic, but I really like that bridesmaid dress... where did you get it?

They are from Davids Bridal. They come in a lot of colors and I really liked them because they can be worn again.

I am so excited for my tea party if you can do it you should! Around where I live there is a clay painting place. You go there and can pick out pottery and paint it. They then fire it for you. I know a lot of towns have something like this. If you look in my PJ I have other colors I desiged them off the acual tea cups from the ride in Disney world.

the "mickeys" are made from two different sized crystals glued together/beside each other. I think I used 5mm and 7mm or something close to that...good luck

I got some great ideas from the Creative disigns boards just wanted to see some more of what people have already done themselves for thier weddings!

Anybody have any luck using the circut for DIY projects.. tossing around getting one but want to make sure it will be worth it!!!
