I'm one of the queen bargain shoppers.
I'm almost 100% that every piece of clothing item in my closet has been on sale or given as a gift.
A few weeks ago I went clothes shopping and bought about 5 outfits. (This includes 3 pairs of slacks, a dress shirt, a purse, shoes, and a few other things) for $60. Every item was on clearance except one pair of slacks that were very cheap at $20.

I actually got really upset one day when looking for jeans because there was a pair I liked that were $25, and I couldn't convince her to get the $10 ones that I liked as well. We got into a fight over it, because I wouldn't let her buy those pants and she thought I just wanted to the other ones because they were cheaper (Which was half true, but I actually did like them too). It was crazy.

But my mom has taught me well. She uses coupons, A LOT. Like 50 each time she checks out. They call her the "coupon lady" at target. No lie, one of the cashiers has seen her and scanned her coupons so much she actually stopped her while in the store when she wasn't even working and asked if she had all her coupons that day. xD

omgosh mine too! i HATE paying full price for a lot of clothes. for me to pay full price on an article of clothing, i have to be in LOVE with it. my dad is the same way. my mom'll be "sonya do you really want to buy this shirt you'll stain in two weeks?" my dad is like "who cares? if you want it, you got it. anything for my little girl". no lie!

my mom always uses coupons too. she and i have a routine every sunday - sometimes we get donuts, we read the paper, and clip coupons. i do it too and i'm not ashamed.

everytime i shop online, i search like mad for discount codes. my mind is "why pay $20 for it when you can find a discount code and get it for $15?" every penny helps.
jeans are the only thing i'm wiling to pay more for. the cheap jeans i have are very uncomfortable with my scar because they're either to thick and rough or too thin.

When I find a subject in school that interests me, I go to the library and independently study it.
Like, I love psychology. So since I've already taken the psych classes at my school, I check out bunches of psych books from the library and teach myself in more detail.

I have to stop and explain lots of the words I use to my friends.
I hate that it sometimes seems like I try to use more impressive words just to sound more intelligent.
It's not that at all. It's just since I read all the time when I was younger, I picked up a pretty large vocabulary, and since I think in those terms, I speak in those terms.

My teacher once told me that if i loved it so much, that i should become one (something about how not many people have the mindset for it?) I'm not so sure... i really have my heart set on being something (anything!) in the culinary division.
