Has Anyone Ever Seen A Celebrity In Wdw

We were at the mvmcp dec 4 it was midnight and we were on our way out and i had to make one last stop at the candy store on main street and walked right in to David Cook from American Idol he was so nice he even want to take picture with kids

In March 2008, I saw the country singer (and he was on celebrity apprentice last year) Trace Adkins standing outside the Jungle Cruise. He was wearing a doo-rag and looked BORED OUT OF HIS MIND! :rotfl2: His kids looked happy though. He had three little cute blonde girls with him.

Then a few days later we were waiting for our ressie outside the Coral Reef Restaurant. There was a group of strangely dressed people outside the door. They were wearing white leopard print hats and some were men dressed as women with crazy wigs. My friend with me freaked out because apparently one of them was a Playboy Bunny (she had a pin on her hat to indicate this???). She was one of the one's on The Girl's Next Door (a show I didn't watch but my friend did).

Whenever I see a CM with a plaid vest, I'm like, "Where's the CELEB???" It's a fun thing to do.

Ok, let's see. I have met:

Kelly Ripa

Samuel L. Jackson

David and Victoria Beckham (Saw actually)

And I think I ran flat into the Jonas Brothers.(I was reading a map, and Wham! right into them) Did not give it a seond thought untill I got home.

Off Disney property I have met:

Dionne Warwick

Vesta Williams

Ann Nesby

Patti Austin

And

Patti LaBelle

David Cook, this year in EPCOT.

I was at our hotel and my DD spotted him and stalked him a bit. When I caught up with her, he was having something to eat in Mexico. We waited and I got up my nerve and called his name. He was so sweet and nice! I told him what a huge fan I was and he told me that he loved my shirt (Cancer Sucks).

In July of 08 we saw Kobe Bryant and his family. My dad asked why I didn't get his autograph, but he was there with his wife and two little girls. I just couldn't bring mself to do it.

Besides the disney charcater's, who did you see? Did you talk to them? When did you see them? Circumstances?

Anyone?

Pic's if possible...

Last year while at Disney World we saw Ryan Key from Yellowcard & Chris Kirkpatrick from NSYNC together with the VIP people. We were going to go up to them, but for the life of me I couldn't remember Ryan's name so we just stood there on the side going through names trying to remember. And then they walked away

And then this past March me and my sister were at Disneyland and we saw Ed Begley Jr. or better known to us as Stan Sitwell from Arrested Development. She spotted him online at Soarin and asked me why he looked so familiar. And I instantly knew who he was. And then she goes "oh it's because he has hair" :lmao:

On one of my very first trips to Disney World, I spotted Muhammed Ali with a small group of people in Tomorrowland. He was already suffering from his illness at that point so I didn't see anyone ask for his autograph but most people, like me, just snapped pictures and waved. I think this was around 1998. I have the picture somewhere in my archives.

We saw Samual L. Jackson outside Hollywood Studios when we were there last may. He was by himself, wearing a long raincoat, dark glasses and a hat (I guess that he didn't want to be noticed), but he was smiling the biggest smile, just like a little kid. We didn't bother him for a picture, it was his vacation too!

A few years ago, my son and daughter met Raven Simone during the filming of the Christmas day special in Magic Kingdom. Two years ago, my wife and I spotted Kyle Massey coming off of Tower of Terror. He stopped and signed a few autographs and posed for pictures.

I didn't see them, but when I was in High School Dh and I were in the marching band/drill team and marched at disneyland in the parade. Apparently Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were there and really liked our band(Tom Hanks has connections to the area around our town so he knew of our high school). That was pretty cool.

We met Jeff Gordon and his wife and daughter last February. My son is a HUGE fan of his. We were on our way out of CRT and he was on his way in. We hovered around Dumbo for a bit waiting to catch another glimpse. He came out and my DH, who says he isnt a fan went to mush. Shook his hand and cried all over him for a minute.. it was priceless:lmao: dont think he cared for his Kyle Busch hat though:rotfl:. DH apologized over and over and told him DS was a huge fan and he took a pic with our kids. DS12 is still floored. DD didnt care, not a nascar fan. And I dont remember a darn thing lol. I cant say one bad thing about Jeff Gordon, it was so awesome for him to take a minute for the crazy fans. If he only knew what it meant for my DS. Any other day he has on his 24 shirt and hat. That day I made him wear his Pluto shirt. We came home and blew the pic up to 8x10, and now amongst all his 24 memorbilia he has a pic of him and jeff Gordon with the castle in the background on his wall. :goodvibes

In Dec 2007 we saw Neil Patrick Harris multiple times over a couple of days. I literally ran into him at AK, then we saw him at Epcot a few times. He was the narrator for CP at that time - I absolutely LOVE:lovestruc him and I was speechless when I ran into some guy, looked up at the person, and realized it was him. All I could manage was a creepy "Hi".

First two from AK, last one is in Epcot -we were seating in same row in car in Ellen's Energy Adventure as him as well, but I didn't think that I should whip out my camera during that!

I'm so jealous! I get so sad when I see things on tv and stuff when stars are at the World...I am never there when anyone famous is there!! I love hearing all your stories!!!

We saw Don Knotts when he was at the studios. That was back when they would have the parade for the star then have them do their handprints and then pose for pictures with people. My couisn told him what a huge fan my father was of him and he gave us the towel that he used after doing his hand prints.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Talked to him a little and had pictures done. He was a very nice man.

I was there during the same time. I said to my friend, "that guy looks just like Doogie Howser MD", she said, "because he is Doogie". I couldn't think of his name at the time. We saw him coming off of Sorin'. When I was a merchandise CP, I rang up Brian Urlacker from the Chicago Bears, and I saw Kelly from 91210. She sent the VIP guide in to pay for her daughter's sucker.

We saw Troy Aikman and his family several years ago at SM in MK. They were getting on as we were getting off. Then, a few hours later, his group came into LTT to eat while we were eating there. One of our freinds' little boy (about 8 at the time) ran into him in the men's room and introduced himself to him! He said "Hi, I'm XX from Tuttle, Ok." and Mr. Aikman said , "Well, Hi, XX from Tuttle, Ok. I'm Troy Aikman.":rotfl2: He probably thought the kid was stalking him into the men's room!:lmao:
We didn't see him any more that day. If he saw us, he probably ran the other way:rotfl:

P.S. and yes, we adults were very embarrassed that the kid had bothered Mr. Aikman, espcially in the men's room! The kid did get scolded and we made sure he stayed in his seat the rest of the meal. Even famous people deserve vacations with their families without being bugged by the public (especially in the bathroom!).

No they dont. They are famous and therefore law dictates they be bugged! :rotfl2:
