Well, the wicked laugh can work.

And that's one of my favorite parts too.

So I was at the mall today, and went into Hot Topic for the first time in years! Yes, this is what my little Twilight mania has reduced me to. And of course, there's a couple of tweens in front of the display and I'm feeling sort of old but don't care. :lmao: I was dying (ha ha) to smell the perfume, but I didn't see any. Has anyone gotten a whiff yet?

Yeah my hubby tried to tell me that I was too old to be so obsessed with Twilight and drooling over Robert Pattinson was no longer jail bait since he was 22.

Sadly, I haven't been near the mall except for Christmas and it looked like there was a line forming to go in HT..... I am getting a t-shirt this weekend if it kills me...

And you guys seriously crack me up while I'm at work!! Not that I'm on the internet or anything. 'Cause that would be against the rules. :rolleyes1

That's right! We keep it legal! :lmao:

That's so cute! The only reason I don't go for hats like that though is they squish my bangs and make me look doofy afterwards. :lmao:

WOW! I love that hoodie! Is that couture line or something? $90, my goodness!

I really liked the deep v neck with Edward and Bella in person. On the web it didn't look so great. And then I thought, can I really wear this? Am I ready to OUT myself as a Twilight-aholic? :lmao:

Oh, of course. You would never, ever do that.

I have a girlfriend I met on the boards who will sometimes e-mail me while I'm at work. I work part time at a bank. And sometimes, she just cracks. me. up. You know what I mean? And I told her once, my co-workers are noticing that I'm laughing and off in my own little world trying not to snort while I'm holding it in.

So she told me, if anyone sees that, just throw a handful of nickels in the air, and say YAY MONEY! YAY CHECKING ACCOUNTS! YAY BANKING!

So take that, and apply it to what you do. ;)

Anyone gotten those Edward cardboard cut outs?

Not personally, but I have a friend on another thread who was getting one for her daughter for Christmas. I totally forgot to ask her if she went nuts for the big reveal! :goodvibes

Oddly enough, that is what I do! ( at least at one job!) When I do start laughing, I just say, "our customers are funny!" :rolleyes1

must find way to post at work.

and not get caught. :cool2:

Oh, that's too funny. Seriously!

I really can't be on the DIS at work. I work for a bank that's very corporate, and our computers are monitored and can be randomly entered at any time.

Kills the fun, it really does. :lmao:

um.....me too! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyone gotten those Edward cardboard cut outs?

how do you suppose they get delivered? Does the UPS man just come and stand him up on your porch?

That would cause me to scream like a 12 year old girl.

:lmao: :rotfl2: Me, too!

CP, we saw one today. Our family decided to goof around downtown Seattle since we all had the day off, and we went to Pike Place Market. We were browsing around the little shops downstairs and there's a movie memorabilia one, and they had a stand-up RPattz cutout outside the door. I grabbed DD14 by the sleeve and pointed it out, and she was like, "Squeeee!!" But of course, DH rolled his eyes. :rotfl:

No, I didn't get it. I would have felt pretty strange carrying a life-size cutout of Rob around the streets of Seattle. ;)

TELL me you took a picture of yourself with it!!!!

TELL me you took a picture of yourself with it!!!!

:headache: Arrgghh! I didn't! I didn't have the camera with me. And anyway, it's hard enough on DH that his 44 y.o. wife acts like a 12 y.o. fangirl-- I try not to make my "inner crazy" so obvious! :rotfl: I tell you, I haven't even broached the subject of the Twilight Summer School in Forks next June. He'd probably have a cow when I mentioned the $400 cost for DD13 and I to go.

Ha! I have the sticker... I want to put it on my car but it reminds me of the 80's when you knew like which girls were "Prince" fans due to their hair and folder choices... and like in Fast Times at Ridgemont High where she points out the "Pat Benatar" girls. :rotfl:

Ah well.... we're safe here. Unless, of course, we're walking down the street with our RPatz cutout.. that's pretty obvious. :rolleyes1

EDIT: Oh, and I think I'm going to get this T-Shirt. I see alot of shirts and none really grabbed me as the perfect shirt. (though I do like alot of those cute Forks T-shirts. If I ever go there I will definitely buy one of their shirts ;) ) .. typically because the shape (I like the V-necks best) but I really like this one. It's nice and sparkley. I'm going to wear it, too. It's somehow different than a bumper sticker. I don't know why!

P.S. Sunny, I have my pic with the RPatz and nobody said nothin!

I totally like that shirt and want it!!!

And where is your picture, missy??? Certainly not the one in your siggy, because that is moi!!!

LOL So you know what I'm saying then!!!

Ok, so the link is now in my siggie again... this is the link to my entire little Twilight Trip Report. It spans a few pages... you have to skip the junk in between

Well, you're braver than I am.

I guess you weren't ready to "out" yourself either. ;)

He'd probably have a cow when I mentioned the $400 cost for DD13 and I to go.

How can we help you with this? Does he have a favorite meal? Something you can whip up to sort of soften the blow? ;)

I think that tee is really cute! I'm loving the v-necks. :thumbsup2

I just want to ask...

is it wrong that I spend a lot of time just staring at your signature? :lmao:

It's fine, I do it all the time myself. :rotfl:

BTW, I'd like to send you ladies some belated Christmas cards, so if you want to get one and are ok with it, please PM me your postal adress. :goodvibes
