August 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Looking for breakfast at Chef Mickey's anytime from 8/17 to 8/24 .. we love that place, and this is the first time we couldn't get an ADR there!

There is a lot of construction going on in the main tower of the CR (they are adding a CS restaurant like Captain Cooks @ the Poly) ..keep checking because people are cancelling due to the noise...from what I have read. I was staying MK view @ the CR up until 4 days ago...I am leaving friday and I was worried about the noise...they are working from 8-5..FYI

Hi everyone! I am new here, my husband and I just planned a last minute trip to WDW for next week. I had no idea that the dining would be so hard to come by. When we went in 03 we just ate wherever we wanted and made ressies while we were already there. This time we don't have as much flexibility to eat whenever we want because we are bringing our 1 year old son. So, obviously at this late date theres not much left. I'm looking for anything between dinner on the 19th through, and inclduding all meals to the 22nd.

If anyone has a Chef Mickey or Tuskers I'd be happy to take them off your hands. I know its a total long shot but I'd appreciate it, my baby boy loves the mouse! TIA

Welcome to the DIS!!! I would suggest that you keep on calling a couple times a day and even once you get there. People cancel all the time!
