hey..cpooh?..your poor..lil'giraffes still~ :dance3: ....

..hey...are they're not....zebras..who changed their spots?

...cruise ?....sooooo we've going to disneyland...on a mm day?

..who's been ?..& what the best ways to go?

dinning....that's the difference between....wenches..& swabbies?...dressing
up..versus chowing down.

:flower3: ..sorry step. girl..for your recent loss & troubles. hopefully
the sunshine...will be back.."real soon". [ though you was unable to attend,
i'm sure...your feelings....were felt..for all ..those sharing....his very special
life.

..oh, i read...bout the person "dumping"...his soda..acting out, alot
of people wouldn't have been so kind..in overlooking..his disorderly
conduct...& i kno..i would have pressed charges...maybe thru his "pie~
hole"...:rolleyes1

fyi, i believe..disney has seating rules?...therefore, any person acting
out... & violating such written policies...can be held responsible.

..i think the key...in preventing..these disruptions..is for others to
suppport one another..by offering witness to those willing..to trespass
the rights/rules of others..set by disney's policies? if i was i disney
managment..i would suggest..adopting...an incident report. maybe video
system?

* before our 2006 cruise...i took time to read..and follow the diser's
posting..trying to decide...what they're about. during..the cruise...
i was most impressed with their willness to help others, and make the
cruise..enjoyable to all!

right now..we got a new problem..with our new neighbor...over by our
recreational land.....basically, he isn't happy..where the property boundaries
are....which are in realities. nor does it helps..he 's drinks a case of beer
per day..& loses self control....& now becoming destructive. our response
is to gather...evidence, as we devised ways to protect our properties...

* he got drunk..& dropped nails....but also an empty cigarette package,
special finishing screws...and pieces of his new carpet. [ he can't
tolerate..our no~trepassing signs...& when he gets drunk...demonstrating
poor impulse control...

..i just realized..we have never seen dcl's big screens though we've
done 5 cruises....on our first cruise..they didn't have all the different
characters....[luggage tags]. instead..they're picture..of the ships. our
first show...was a production...called the ghost ship. right?!!! as if
that ever going to happen..an empty..disney cruise?

did anyone..sailed..the sept 24, 05 cruise? somehow..we misplaced our
grand cayman..navigator..we were hoping to saved?

well bippy girl..i bet you could find...grown up princess: ..that would
appricate your girly stuff....then there always, "the swabbies"..or
crew?

i'm glad..it is as we "wish"..as we struggle with trying to decide our
packing limit....the horror, :scared1: ..being caught wearing.....the same
pants .....2 nights...in a row! ;) ..especially those with stains...however,
i heard..etoh...washes...alot "grass" stains out,

* since..grass...snuck..in there, are you wearing your grass skirt, crash.
now that would be...a  & entertaining dinner show...you & the
wenches..came..one evening..all "deck up". [ well the late diners..need

 ..attentions .....to? ]

i'm still thinking paper sack...but i doubt....i'll be able..to sneak anything
pass..my lil'sweetie....& her eagle eye! one challenge...for sawbbies..is
finding chocolates..that melt...in your mouth..& not in your pants,

:smokin: * fluffy...chocolates~on~chocolate taste are always desirable!

Well join my club. I don't think I have the money to buy new clothes and OBVIOUSLY I don't have enough time to lose weight to fit into more clothes- soo....... I may be a tad underdressed at dinner and maybe have to avoid formal nights. I hope on the other nights that the capris (only thing that fits me besides one pair of shorts) and shirts will suffice. :confused3

I made my "clothing list" last night. Wow. Fifteen nights of dinner on the ship, two nights' pre-cruise....and the sea days, Palo and Brunch.

What it boils down to is this: Very few dresses fit me right. If they're big enough to fit on top, then they hang like a bag on the bottom. God love the new style that looks like maternity dresses, at least they fit. So what if I'm 50....maybe I'm carrying a child for my infertile daughter!! ;)

So....I have maybe 5 dresses, then I have several skirts and tops....but the rest of my outfits for dinner are either going to be skorts or capri's and tops that can double as outfits for brunch or sea days.
Too bad if no one likes it. At least I'm not going to dinner naked.

Speaking of laundry, I still haven't found Dropps. I tried Super Wal-Mart, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond, but nobody had them. I did see small packages of Tide(2 wash size) at Target for .99. I might just pick those up instead.

I gave up :confused3 . I tried 2 supermarkets and a Walmart in my area the website listed as carrying them them. Finally, in Walmart I found 3X concentrated ALL in a small bottle which does 32 loads. It was only $3.97 Between DL and the cruise I will be able to use a good portion of it. Anyone sees me in the laundry room feel free to ask for some. I just got tired of looking for them and wanted cross laundry soap off the list.

My goal is to be all packed with everything ready to go by August 1st :thumbsup2

My DS 12, had tubes put Back In, a few weeks ago. He had them in for 6 years and finally had them taken out last Dec to heal for our Feb cruise, he did great but the fluid built back up, so we had them put back in and his adenoids taken out at the same time. Much Better!!! His hearing is way better (although selective at times) and even his speach is very clear now.
The hardest part is our hosp. has a parent go in the OR with the kids 'till they're KO'd.... I've alsways been the parent of choice for my son. This kills me each time to watch him go under. Hopefuly this is the last. It's a minor operation the doctor says, Not to us! we don't do these everyday like they do, it's a big deal for us.
Glad to hear everything worked out, the ear plugs are a pain but so worth it.
J got lime green so they're noticable in the water if one pops out.
Jack

My oldest daughter had tubes twice, my son had them 3 times, plus the adenoids removed, and then later had surgery on his nose and sinus cavaties.
NO WAY COULD I HAVE GONE IN THERE AND WATCHED THEM GO TO SLEEP!!
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
It was bad enough going into the recovery room afterward.   (that was ME crying, not them)...actually, Jared was only 9 months old the first time, and 2 the 2nd time....the second time, he woke up howling like a wounded animal and I just about fainted.

Wow...am I ever glad those years are over. Now I may end up doing it all again as a grandma.:sad1:

Hello Everyone!

Does anyone know if one can order tuxedos without a state room # (still GTY here)?:confused3

I just happened to do my clothes list yesterday also.....

I need a few tops for casual night and maybe a pait of tan capris, but other than that I combined all the dresses/casual/formal wear over the last 3 cruises and am going to go with it. Since 2002 I have lost and gained the same 25 lbs over and over :headache: . Sooo, the 2004 cruise wear (had lost the weight) is for the beginning of the cruise (thank goodness the 1st formal is on Day 2:rotfl: ) and the 2006 cruise wear is perfect for towards the end because right now it is all a bit too loose (lost some weight again), but by the end of the cruise, well, you know :rolleyes1 .

I bought the Tide ones when I saw them last month... I'm also bringing a small bottle of detergent for stuff that I don't want to stain (DD is 18mo and makes a huge mess!) so I can wash some in the sink or tub.

:lmao: :lmao:

You'll look fine Stace. Save the naked for the rugby game.

Wow...am I ever glad those years are over. Now I may end up doing it all again as a grandma.:sad1:

When my son had his adenoids out and tubes put in when he was 2 3/4, I was with him in the operating room. He was fine until they started to put the mask over his face and he began to struggle and then a nurse literally pushed me out of the room, but I could see he was already asleep before I was even out of the room. He had surgery on his right eye last year at 5 and they didn't let me go into the room with him. He actually held the hand of the opthamologist and walked into the room with her by himself. I think in some ways that was harder, to see this little boy in his gown and hat and booties walking off like that.

Incidentally his tubes fell out within about 2 weeks of each other in January, the second tube coming out while we were at WDW. And after not having any infections in almost 3 years, he's now had 3 since February, the most recent a little over a week ago when we were flying back from CA from our trip to DL, and that trip home was just hellish. We have an appt now with the ENT, but our ped already warned us that likely one more infection and it will be tubes again.

It must have been the day for that. I'm so sorry about your dog. I'm glad she is ok. My son and I went to get our allergy shots yesterday, and I had the same problem. After an epi-pen, and a bunch of other medication, they let me go about 1 hour later. Not fun and I was half out of it the rest of the day. That is the 3rd time that has happened to me over a period of years and I hate it.

Oh my!!!! I hope you are feeling ok today!

wow! that is crazy....i can't imagine having to go back to the O.R. with the kids! that would kill me. it was hard enough watching the boys be wheeled away in the bed! we are hoping that oldest ds ears will improve with this. it was crazy how fast his hearing was blocked this time around. he is 10 yrs old...and seriously has been in for tubes about 7-8 times. it's about once a year. he had the last set removed last year and as soon as it was done...he got an infection! i was so flustered...i just could not believe the doc even took them out! he usually lets them fall out on thier own..but not that time! ds ended up with infection after infection this winter...so in he went...and hopefully now his hearing will return to normal. funny about the green earplugs...that is what we have too! LOL!! both of the boys had to get a pair...and we were hoping they would have diff colors to pick from...last time they did....but not this time. only green!

One of my brothers has permanent stainless steel tubes in hi ears -- I htink he may only have 1 now... I know he *lost* one during his chemo treatments a while back. Turns out if you retch hard enough they come out.

We have our VBS in one and a half weeks.

As of today (deadline for registration was yesterday), we have 215 children registered, 37 of them pre-schoolers!

 I don't know how many preschoolers/nursery kids we had -- we only accept preschoolers of volunteers in our program. This year I had 160 K-5th graders. So, not too bad.

Good morning/afternoon all! We are off to buy some fireworks for the festivities on Friday and then taking Tori to the American Girl movie that comes out today. Have a great afternoon!

Have fun! We are hoping to see it soon!

I just picked up those Tide packs at Target the other night. Then I wondered if I made a mistake buying liquid instead of powder...in case it breaks open or something - yikes!

I always double ziplock bag liquids. :)

Oh man!!!!! What is wrong with people????!!!!! FIL sold 300acs (weekend property) because we were all tired of dealing with one of the neighbors. :sad2: It became way to stressful.

I would have given just about anything to have not had my kids go through that.

Our middle daughter had an umbilical hernia, and she was 5 when they repaired it. She, too, walked down the hall in her little gown, holding a teddy bear and the hand of the nurse. I thought her Dad was going to curl up and die right there on the floor. Up until that, I was always the one who took the kids, he hadn't had to do it before. :sad1:

Hey LilG....re: your property/neighbor problems. I can't figure out what this world is coming to.
We've had the same problems with people misusing the outer edges of our property....and with people dumping garbage in the dumpster behind our business.
The sheriffs told us that before they would even consider doing anything, we had to post NO Trespassing, No Dumping, Private Property signs. :confused3

Isn't is obvious to these people that they don't own any of it?? I mean, come on...they don't pay the monthly dumpster bill, and they don't pay the taxes on our land......:sad2:
Something is really wrong with the world when we have to do that. It's like "Property Laws for Dummies".

And take lots of pictures.

Funny story.....one time, someone dumped tires in our dumpster....which we would have to pay money to dispose of. The idiots also were stupid enough to dump their daily garbage in there too. The sheriff wouldn't do anything, so we got the illegal dumper's address off the mail in their garbage, loaded all their junk into my husband's truck, and dumped it back in their driveway. We never heard a word. :rotfl:
