Oh one more thing............

WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY NEXT MONTH!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1:

I'll plan it!

Looks like you've got a new job. ;)

Try to gauge where the majority of people are from and then look for a beach nearest to them and one that has a near by airport(s). Then, book it for off-season rates. We always go in October but you could do it in the Spring. We usually start looking for the house (or book the one that we really liked before) around January and then send in the deposit. We have food committees (usually the gals who work in the food industry) who will figure out what we have and what we need to bring and will assign each person something (like a thing of soap, coffee, paper towels, paper plates, etc.) Everyone brings their own beer or wine. We do SC because that is where the majority of people live nearest.

Bernadett, welcome home. Glad that you had a nice time, despite the heat and crowds.

Thanks for the Muppet pictures. Hope they are out and about in Jan.

We will be going out tomorrow to get new flooring for the full bath. The caulking started to come away from the tub, and water got under the floor.

:wizard: Deb that you finish your deck this weekend.

Robyn, your slideshow is fantastic. I can't believe how good her ultrasound pics were! And, where do you find the time? :goodvibes Sorry about your monster-in-law.

Welcome back, Bernadette. Sounds like a great trip except for the losing the child thing.

Elizabeth, the school supplies are going to cause your BP to skyrocket. :wizard: that DS finds his case.

Im in burlington county--near mercer county...

wonder how far away warren and hunterdon are? ill have to ask my mom :)

Warren and Hunterdon are in the corner of the state right across the border from Easton, PA (where I was born). A few hours away I would guess.

It is a little ambitious isn't it!!:rotfl:

Um...just a little....I don't think that we do that stuff in a year...LOLOLOL Good luck! :wizard:

Good Morning, DDA! :sunny:

Tom, sorry that Leighann is sick.

:wizard: to Leighann.

My boys always get sick at the beginning of the school year. Owen missed his first day of preschool last year and the year before and Shane missed the first couple of days because he was sick a few years ago. They can not get sick this year. We're already taking time off for Disney in December! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well I am off for the night. My MIL struck again this evening and it hasn't been pleasant.
Sorry for rambling! It's just been hell around here

 for you and

:grouphug: for the girls and Eric.

That is just nasty all around. Sounds to me like your MIL is just a manipulative b!tch!! :-)eek: did I really just say that?!?!) ::yes::

Elin, I would encourage them to bring their own stroller. They can pull it up to the gate at the airport so they won't have to lug the kid through the corridors. It will be his own stroller that he is used to, probably recline. Tell them to bring his stroller.

I don't know what my son was thinking, but he brought his son's little umbrella stroller!!! No!! Bring the McClaren with the cup holders and basket for storage and sun visor. Something sturdy for him to sit in for hours on end. Something to support his back. The stroller they use when they go to the mall, that collaspes with one hand, that he calls home.

Anyway, that's my opinion. FWIW, my DD loves hers. We go nowhere without it. And it travels well on Disney buses. No problem at all. Folds with one hand and has a small footprint. Invaluable at the airport.

I will certainly pass along your suggestion, Stephanie! I am assuming they still have a stroller for Mitchel, but who kows? Kathrin HATED sitting in a stroller at WDW and Kristin would still use one if we got it. :rotfl:

Good morning, DDA! And happy September!

My September is not off to a great start! 2 more pieces chipped off of my crown this morning and now it is SHARP!:scared: I tried to stick some of DS's orthodontic wax on it but it didn't work.

Kim - DS just now brought me (you'll never guess!) ANOTHER supply list!:headache: And I don't have this stuff on hand so we'll have to go to Target. We were going to Target anyway, though, because we are out of detergent.

Tammi - I would love to do a DDA trip! It's just tricky for me with DH's schedule.

Stephanie - Your DGD knows you cancelled one trip already. Just explain to her that you can't be at EVERY competition. I think she will understand.:)

I need help. :surfweb: You know I so rarely ask for help, this must be a biggie.:headache: :headache:

My DGD, 10 has joined a traveling cheerleading team. The first event, Hollywood goes to Hershey is December 1-2. She loves cheering.:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Much better then soccer or even ballet. She loves cheering with stunts and choreography. Now I have already cancelled my HH beach vacation during her spring break, so she can compete in the Battle at the Capital, in Fairfax, VA.

The first event, I'll be in Disney with my surrogate grandson, his first trip!!! They said they couldn't go to Disney without me,

Now my DGD's competion dates are busy. Boo Hoo....:sad1: :sad1:

Sounds like you need to find a clinic where they are doing some experimental cloning.

Debbie - I hope your trip is just WONDERFUL! And how devastating for the family you told us about. Unimaginable.

Deb & Chris - good luck with the deck this weekend. We want pictures!

Steffy - make a list and get done what you can. Don't forget to REST!

Elizabeth - I cannot believe your crown is coming apart! I have one come off in one piece, but have never heard of one breaking up. Hope that Tuesday gets here quickly (just for you, mind you)

Guess what?

:dance3: WE GO TO WDW NEXT MONTH!!:dance3:

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

It is a glorious day here so I am off to have a cup or two of coffee on my patio before we tackle the lawn! See you all later.

Well I am off for the night. My MIL struck again this evening and it hasn't been pleasant. She mentioned before she left for England that when she returned both girls, Emma and Molly, could spend the night.

Up until now it has always just been Emma. She had been very insistent that she did not want Molly, I was under the impression that it was just because Molly is not one to sit still and you really can't let her out of your sight. In other words the complete opposite of Emma!

Anyway, fast forward to tonight and Eric gets a call from her. He asked his dad earlier in the week if the girls could stay Saturday night and he said I'll have mom call you but I don't see a problem. She lays into Eric with all this crap about "Why is that now I'm good enough to leave the girls with and before I wasn't" and a ton of other crap. Well She even told Eric that she refuses to keep Molly as she does not change diapers or potty train. What a witch! Apparently I am now a failure as a mother because my 3 yr old refuses to go on the potty.

So needless to say, the girls will not be going over there tomorrow nor anytime in the near future. I really thought this past Sunday, she called and invited the 5 of us to dinner, and the comments she made after coming home from Eric's sister were a turning point. I guess not.

Sorry for rambling! It's just been hell around here as I am also having issues with my mom and sister regarding my niece, Emma and Molly. That is a story for another day.

Have a great Friday night! See y'all in the morning.
:grouphug: I'm sorry Robyn. :grouphug:
