No, the date has nothing to do with when it's going to be placed. It's pertinent to me.

Just a heads up to everyone, in case something goes down here later and I end up getting booted off the boards, that the TROLL, aka Sea Turtle, has apparently made a copy of my certificate for himself and posted it to the gallery under his screen name.

I have no idea why this freak of nature decided to pick me and harrass me, but this too, shall end. Remember that there are sociopaths on these boards, be careful with your personal info.

I chose to upload the photo bc the final location of my brick will not be where you see on the certificate, so this psycho should have a harder time finding out my name, etc., UNLESS, of course, he works for Disney, which at this point, would not surprise me.

I have reported this infringement to the webmaster, and I am currently in the process of tracking down this psychopath, which shouldn't be too hard for me considering what I do for a living. Sometimes people just go a little too far and need to be straightened out.

I got the "Letter of Doom" and nothing else. No credit card charges and no emails.

BTW, I scanned the certificate and blocked out my personal info., but you can clearly see the date it was issued. I will be uploading this to the DIS Photo Gallery, so if anyone wants to see it, it will be there shortly. I plan on removing it later this evening.

I also got the letter of doom yesterday. It was not a suprise since I had already gotten the email of doom, but it is still frustrating. The letter does not acknowledge at all that they had re-opened the program. It says they repair bricks occasionally, but that the program is closed. No acknowledgement of this whole debacle.

The letter of doom has really re-inflamed my anger over this whole thing. If they had just said 'we messed up, we did not have that many to sell, we're sorry that you were told over the phone that you were getting one', I would not be annoyed. I understand that things happen. All I ask is that you are straight with me.

Of course there is no phone number on the letter (how convenient!), but I plan to write to the signer, the manager of retail sales, and complain about how this whole thing was handled.

I think you should take some of your own advise.

Leave it be. I reported Sea Turtle's posts as I thought s/he was a troll. But I think you going after him/her in real life is was over the top.

I'm glad that you reported his/her? post, but "real life?" I don't believe I was specific about what exactly it is I have been doing to eradicate this problem. It's being taken care of.

Perhaps you should not publicly show your concern for a troll/cyberstalker? Kind of makes you look like a sympathizer. Unless, of course, you know who this person is...? I forget...are you expecting a certificate?

I was told this morning that the certificates have already been sent out to those who are expecting them. Hopefully, someone else here will be kind enough to let us know when they receive theirs.

I haven't removed anyone, no one has asked that I do so. The list has only grown.

I was not and am not going to sit back and let someone harrass and stalk me. Sending me PMs and asking when I'll be down in Disney, threatening my family, copying personal info. I'm not confrontational by nature, but the line has to be drawn somewhere. We are all anonymous here--that has it's good and bad side. As I said earlier, sometimes people just take things too far and something has to be done about it. That's all.
