I'm so proud of all of you that are continuing to lose weight. I haven't been doing so well lately. I am going to have to get back on the wagon! This is me right now when I check my weight.

I am up 5 pounds from my lowest and just haven't been able to get motivated to take it back off.
It's hard to stay motivated in the yucky winter weather. I'm sure you will get back on track once the spring warms us all up.

It went pretty well except for all the pink everywhere. (She can't stand pink!) She loved the gifts I got her and a few of us from college went out to the mall where this place Jillians is for margaritas (a bar/restaurant/pool hall type place) afterwards. Of course we made a stop at Spencers..they had their..um "Valentine Adult Collection" out and we spent about 30 minutes in there trying to convince her to buy the Stripper Pole in a Box (among other things!) but we all got distracted by this little book called Cookie Sutra. :rotfl: Note you can search inside the book, but the cover should tell it all! :lmao: We drank, laughed about our college years and our spring break trip to Nashville...It was fun! Too short of a visit!
Sounds like a great day!

They sure have! It's hard to believe that was almost 3 years ago already! I really wish I could go again in May. Ds said that when he is in college, he and I should go for a trip in May, because he will be done with school earlier than the other kids. I think that he is forgetting about those tuition payments. ;)
:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: That he gets a full scholarship. That would be a wonderful trip-just the 2 of you! Hey maybe you should go with me on a fact finding mission for a future May trip!

I'm wondering how good embossers are...I'm looking at this one: http://www.expressionery.com/product.aspx?lineid=8&productid=1416 for the wedding invites. The envelopes are kind of heavy though - so I'm not sure how well it would work. Maybe I'll keep looking around and see if I can find one that's more heavy duty...
The reason why I went to this site was because I got the Family Fun magazine in the mail...there's an ad in there for "New! Exclusive and Charming Collections of Classic Disney Designs" at www.expressionery.com/fun ...(Page 78 if anyone has the magazine) There's a cute Mickey/Minnie one that would make great thank you notes - and lo and behold they don't carry it YET. Why would someone put something in an ad and not have it yet???
Could you use a gold seal if the envelope was too thick? I actually don't think the envelope would be too thick-I would think it would be better than a cheap thin envelope?:confused3

Vicki, I just noticed your ticker. I didn't realize how quickly your trip is coming up. Are you:yay:  :woohoo: ?

Yep! And a little bit of this too.

I can't believe how fast it is approaching. The important stuff is done so I'm not worried about it. If I don't get post cards, autograph pages or tshirts done, I know we'll still have fun. However, I go to Lansing two days this week, I'm working on a special documentation project that needs to be done by Thursday, and I am in Gaylord the day before we fly out.

Full scholarship would be a dream come true! Especially for the two years that he and Laura will both be in college at the same time. There may well be six years of no Disney trips without scholarships.

Glad you all had a good time!

Vicki-are you doing the meal plan on your next trip? I didn't think you were since you have AP's now. I've always lost weight at Disney except when I was on the meal plan.

Well everyone I'm off to bed. It's been a long day - Bob's sick and sound asleep (snoring mind you) on the couch so I better try to get him to bed.

Night!

Dh and the boys have been watching Kim Possible from 8-10 pm tonight which is why I've had so much time to play around here. Laura has been DISing, too, but she stays to the VMK board.

I guess I should go get a few things done before bed, though.

Glad you had a great time. You would think those that were hosting the shower would know the bride does not like pink

:scared1: I haven't thought about that. I'll have 8 years straight of college (assuming no grad school)-2 with Lizzy, next 2 Lizzy & Joe, next 2 Joe & Emma, and Emma's last 2 years. I cannot imagine 8 years with out Disney.

Maybe I'll be sick of it by then. :rotfl2:

Next year will be the first year that they will be in 3 different schools. Emma in preschool, Joe in 1st grade (K-2) and Lizzy in 3rd grade (3-5). All different schedules. I don't know how we'll get Lizzy on the earlier bus. Then it will happen again when Emma is in grade 2, Joe grade 4 and Lizzy in the high school 6-12. :scared1:

I've had three in three schools this year and last. Our schools are K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Next year Laura will be in high school with Matthew, so I'll drop down to two schools again. Laura and Miles are 6 years apart in school, so we'll have a couple of years without tuition in there, but after 6 years of college (two of them double), we'll probably still be playing catch-up. I can't even think of them all being that old right now though. It makes me a little queasy!

And Laura is definitely looking forward to the 1/2 hour later bus time next year! She is so not a morning person.

Beth - Love your new siggie and the pics! I really hope we get to go in June because I would enjoy the flowers. I am not a gigantic Star Wars fan, but the flowers look really neat!

Chanon - Sounds like you had fun today!

Vicki and Janet - Your trips will be here before you know it!
